Should the US have a Muslim president such as Barack Obama?

Seems like the US should stick to picking American presidents. Obama is of Muslim lineage, seems like this would undermine the War on Terror.

Just because his father is a Muslim makes his status as Muslim. What about his mother who is a Christian? 20. on the fact whether he is a muslim or not, he may be a christian now because he knew that it would affect the voters if he was muslim (which it obviously has). i seriously doubt that any of us really know him well enough to know what he really believes. but i know i would not give up my faith to win an election. im definetely not one to judge, i mean one of my best friends is muslim, but something just doesn't feel right about having a muslim president.
