Would you vote for Illinois Senator Barack Obama if he ran for president? Why or why not?

I usually don't really like politics too much, but when he ran for senator a couple of years ago, he was the only candidate that I felt I had ever agreed with totally.

Public Comments

  1. I would like to see his platform, but he certainly project a feeling of assurity and intelligence
  2. I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT THIS MAN STANDS FOR I'D HAVE TO DO ALOT OF RESEARCH BEFORE I COULD ANSWER THIS HONESTLY.
  3. Yeah, I liked his attitude and his speech.
  4. He is a wonderful speaker. I would vote for him.
  5. Not enough federal experience to know where he's coming from and his addenda
  6. I hope that he does run. He would bring a breath of fresh air to American politics! Have been reading and listening to everything I can about him since his great speech at the Dem Convention 2004. He's fantastic!
  7. No, cuz he's a LIBRAL an his name is Obama. Can you imagine saying "Presdient Obama?"
  8. The only thing attractive about him is that he gave one good speech a couple of years ago. Granted, that's more than Clinton did before he ran (remember he bombed at the '88 Dem convention?) but we'll all want to know more about this guy before we commit.
  9. He is a little too liberal for me...but I would definately consider him. He seems to be very intelligent, charismatic, and able to bring the parties together...It would depend on when he ran and who ran against him... I do believe he will be president someday whether I would decide to vote for him or not...he is quite amazing.
  10. I think he is Muslim do you relay want him in any higher office?
  11. TOO EARLY FOR HIM AS PRESIDENTIAL NOM. VICE PRES BETTER SUITED AT THIS TIME.
  12. I would vote for him because he is a reasonable person and I respect him.
  13. No, he's a democrat.
  14. I would like to see more of him and what he has to offer but yes I THINK that I would vote for him
  15. After one term in the Senate? Nope.
  16. NO WAY!!! And if they are smart, no one else will either
  17. I'd vote for him & I know Oprah would. He's a great guy who cares about other people. He might be too nice of a person to deserve what this administration will leave behind.
  18. Probably not because he is a liberal, but I would give him a fair shake.
