Senator Barack Obama?

Can Barack Obama win the democratic nomination for presidnet 2008

Public Comments

  1. I don't know, but I would prefer him over Hillary Clinton any day!
  2. He has not proven himself. He is just being pushed forward because he is the only Democratic black person with some crossover appeal.
  3. At this point I would say it's possible, but not probable. A lot can change by 2008. In political terms 2 years is a lifetime.
  4. yes, and i hope he does.
  5. Very possibly. Clinton, Biden, Edwards and possibley a couple of democrat governors could emerge as one of two or three frontrunners also. There is even a chance that Gore could be a candidate. O'Bama's oratory skills, campaign skills and fund raising ability could really help him move to the front in a crowded field.
  6. I hope so. We'll find out!
  7. I don't think he can, unless he has a very good P.R. man. He has not been in the political arena long enough. I'd say he'd have a better chance in 2016. I head a comment on TV the other day-something I had not thought about. They were commenting his last name will hurt him badly with alot of Americans (the less intelligent?). It is too close to Osama, and people, without meaning to, will relate the two names together.
  8. I think that 2008 would be his best chance at winning the Presidency (if that is what he chooses to do). Because of the mixed nature of the bills passed through the senate, the longer he works in the senate, the harder it will be for him to defend his voting record. Anyway, I would vote for him.
  9. no
  10. Yes perhaps and he will lose. So we will have gridlock. Republican president and dem congress. Gridlock is good. Obama will drop the bomba For a double whammy against the dem.s be sure to make Hillary C his running mate. Also make sure that they kiss each other frequently on the campaign trail. Also get the rights to the song "to sir with love" and play it everytime they have a PR appearance.
  11. What's a PRESIDNET??
  12. I don't see why not. He might win it or not but a change would be nice. Obama could use that campaign if he loses to make himself a more respectful and maybe one of the best politicians we've had in years. He's a solid guy, I like the way he approaches the people. We need more people like him these days! I really wish him the best of luck and would vote for him in the primaries if he still wants to run. But if he doesn't make it, he'll show up in 2012 or 2016 with a solid and clear personality. May the best Dem win!!
  13. I don't think America will want a president named 'Barack Hussein Obama,' black or white.
  14. Only if Hillary either: Doesn't run. Gets assassinated. Does something to upset the controlling powers that be. Is Obama a member of the CFR? That is most important for anyone who thinks they can become president. No one gets to be president unless the CFR puts them there. Sue
  15. Most DEFINITELY he is liked by both parties
  16. Nope.
