Who will get up on the Barack Obama bandwagon?
I think Barack Obama is the best candidate the Democratic Party has and the best one that portraits a new beginning. The election of Obama as the new United States President will make Marthin Luther King very proud; it will be the fullfillment of his "dream".The election of Barack Obama will make Abraham Lincoln and Malcom X proud too. From segregation and extreme in racism in the 50's and 60's to the first african american 40 or 50 years later will show the rapid maturity and humanity of american society.Neverthless, Obama is not the perfect candidate(no one is), in fact, I don't like him for being islamic because I'm a born again christian, but I'm liberal too and I have no problem with he as president, because of the separation of religion and government as stated in the US Constitution.Obama should be uscritinized like other candidates. What do you think?! Discuss

- I'm already on it, but I don't think he stands a chance against McCain, even if he does win in the primaries..
- I like Edwards best, but Obama is my second choice.
- A new beginning to what? I love the United States of America
- He is an exciting candidate. I still prefer Edwards but I will support Obama if he gets the nomination.
- "I have no problem with he as president, because of the separation of religion and government as stated in the US Constitution.Obama should be uscritinized like other candidates." yeah that's the ticket..let's elect him because he's so sexy..and he was a legacy with a Dad that taught at Harvard.. all of the things Bush gets ripped for..with his Daddy's influence and power
- Not likely.
- He is the best the dems have to offer, but I disagree with his philosophies of government. If he believed in personal freedoms and liberty, I would support him....but, in that instance, he would not be a democrat.
- I'm happy for you but I think I will continue to research the issues and vote my conscience in the '08 election. Just for giggles, I might write in Ralph Wiggum for president. Also please let me know where in the U.S. Constitution is the stipulation for a separation of church and state.
- Once again, Obama is not a muslim. He was born one. His father/step-father were muslim, mother was an atheist - he converted. Obama is very charasmatic and has my vote (if Ron Paul does not get the nom).
- while i support obama and believe in his dreams, i think we should be very careful for his sake when it comes to comparing him to martin luther king, or saying malcom x would be proud of him. i think with this kid of publicity, we could do him more harm than good, and i'm sure that's not what you intend. let's hook him up with something non racial, and strictly of moving the nation forward as one. to victor c, i agree that your boy was the real deal but that we're not ready for it yet. he's honest, constitution wise and just not pretty enough maybe. sad. i will support obabma though as kucinich directed.
- Obama does not have enough experience delegating authority to be President of the USA. I live in Illinois and I can assure you from my experience in corresponding with both Senators' offices that Obama is the 2nd best Senator in Illinois. I think the USA will be making a mistake with Obama, Huckabee, McCain or Romney.
- I have been supporting him for more than 6 months already. And for the last time, he's not Islamic. Please educate yourself.
- between him and Hillary, who ever wins, i will vote for them.
