8. Good question. If you find out, let me know. Here is a quote attibuted to him: "I am a Christian.… So, I have a deep faith. I'm rooted in the Christian tradition. I believe that there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power, a belief that we are connected as a people." Hardly a "Christian" belief. Being a Christian implies a belief that Jesus Christ is the way to eternal life, not "many paths". He's either been mislead or is misleading....

10. No offense here, pal, but your question suggests we should care about that. This country was founded on the very opposite idea.
11. My answer is who cares? If the man can do the job, that is all that should matter. We don't need to concern ourselves with what religion people in government practice, because those are personal aspects of their lives, aspects into which we have no right to intrude or upon which to sit in judgment. Lest you think that claiming to be a Christian automatically qualifies one to be president, think again. Our "illustrious" president, George W. Bush, claims to be a Methodist, but there are plenty of Methodist ministers who are ready to disavow any association with the man. In fact, a substantial number of them recently sent a letter to Southern Methodist University, which is vying to be the home of Bush's library, letting them know that they thought any official connection of the school with Bush would bring disrepute to the school and to the church. Needless to say, many Methodists are not happy with our "Boy George." We shall see if the ministers prevail.

15. does it really matter what religion he is? does it matter if he is not christian but can get the job done? does it matter if he is wiccan/pagan, or even atheist? as long as he can get the job done? christians have this thing about hiding behind the bible... politics and religion are not the same thing... how many times has bush been in church on sundays? it does not matter what religion or even non religion he is, aslong as he can do the job... people need to stop hiding behind religion and stand own their own feet...
