Why do we find many questions asking whether or not Barack Obama is a Muslim?

What does it differ anyway? Many people voted for Mitt Romney; although he's a Mormon and many more people in 2000 voted for Lieberman as the vice-president of Gore. OK, Obama's father was an apostate from Islam; i.e. he was born a Muslim but later renounced his faith. I myself was born a Jew but later converted to Sunni Islam, but I'm voting for no one other than Ron Paul. Why all this nonesene about Islam being a threat to America and American politics?!

15. Well the reason Islam is a threat is that yes not all muslims are terrorists, it is also true that 99% of all terrorists are muslims. So it makes a difference. His father was muslim, and at a young age he went to an militant muslim elementary school. That's where the questions come in. I don't have anything against the mulsim religion, just the militant aspect that some cling to. My only complaint is that why haven't more peaceful muslims come out in full force to condem the terrorists and try to change people's opinions?
16. If you ignore the myriad of savage, primitive acts, most notably on 9/11, you are being disingenuous. I see no problem with Americans who inquire about Obama's religious affiliations, if those affiliations happen to be the same as those who MURDERED 3000 Americans on live t.v.
