If Senator Barack Obama is Muslim, will relations between the U.S. and other Muslim countries improve?

Thanks for the answers, I didn't know if he was or wasn't Muslim, hence the word "IF". Next, I only asked one question, the first question mark is added automatically. Also, I'm not an idiot, and neither is anyone who answered my question because it's an OPINION question. Last, I apologize if the answer didn't make sense, I didn't notice I was missing a few words. I wanted opinions on whether Obama maybe being Muslim and he's elected President U.S. relations with Muslim countries improve? Wow!!! I feel like a criminal, since when is it wrong to ask an opinion question? I'm old enough to vote, I don't think it's wrong to not know his religious preference because don't we live in a country that separates church and state, therefore religion shouldn't play a part on the candidates' campaign? There was someone that said if he is Muslim, he wouldn't have made a decision to run, and that makes sense. Thanks again for answering, and some of you need to not take questions like this so personally. It was a simple question and there is no need to attack my person or my intelligence.

No. - Look at the relations between the Saudi royal family and the indigenous islamic extremists. - Look at the relations between the islamic extremists and President Musharaff in Pakistan. - Look at the relations between the islamic extremists and the fledgeling Iraqi government. Islamic extremists aren't shy about killing their own, that's for sure. So a Muslim POTUS would not make any tangible difference in relations whatsoever, IMHO of course. I assume this was a hypothetical question though, because he's not Muslim so it doesn't really matter.

I hear people, mostly Democrats say this very thing, but what about this "Separation of Church and State" that these same liberals are always screaming about???????? The president's particular religious beliefs should have NO bearing watsoever on foreign relations. The United States, whom he is emoployed by, is an overwhelmingly Christan country. The problems we have with these countries are not about religion in the first place. It's about money, oil, and politics. The only people we are having trouble over religion with is the Islamic Fundamentalists (terrorists). And if you are hoping to solve those problems, Obama IS NOT the solution. He has already demonstrated his weakness toward holding our enemies accountable. Furthermore, he has demonstrated acts of treason in his words toward the United States and the brave soldiers who protects our citizens from these evil people.
