10. Not that is should matter. But Barack is a Swahili name of Arabic origin (both African and Arabic). Obama is an East African name. I wish more people focused on his character and his political issues rather than his name. Hell, I knew an infamous guy with an "All American Name". He went by David (the KKK) Duke.
11. barak hussein obama was born a muslim and given a muslim name. he was raised in a very western muslim household. about ten years ago he converted to Christianity. he kept him name out of respect for his family and his heritage. i am a conservative but this guy is hard not to like. he leans pretty conservative financially speaking. but very liberal socially speaking.
