Is Barack Hussein Obama a Muslim?

His full name--as by now you have probably heard--is Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. Hussein is a Muslim name, which comes from the name of Ali's son--Hussein Ibn Ali. And Obama is named after his late Kenyan father, the late Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. And while Obama may not identify as a Muslim, that's not how the Arab culture see it. In Arab culture and under Islamic law, if your father is a Muslim, so are you. And once a Muslim, always a Muslim. You cannot go back. In Islamic eyes, Obama is certainly a Muslim.

22. You are incorrect. He is a Christian. Furthermore, if you will research his life, his father was an atheist, though from a Muslim background. In any case is wrong to say that if someone is born to a Muslim father, that he is automatically a Muslim. Being a Muslim is not an ethnic thing. It is a matter of faith. Certainly he was not raised a Muslim and he hasn't converted, so he isn't a Muslim.

Christians don't realize that they don't belong to the first or oldest religion and that many beliefs in christianity are taken from other religions including islam. But we are so quick to claim that we are christians and "In God we trust". Let us stop being critical of those that are not christians and start living up to God's laws as christians ourselves.
26. From what I understand his father is now an atheist. If he doesn't claim to be a Muslim than to me he's not. To be a Muslim you must believe in Islam. I have also heard people say that everyone is a Muslim, it just needs to be professed that you believe there is is only one god and His name is Allah and the Muhammad is the final prophet of Allah.
