Why do a lot of conservatives on this sight keep saying Barack Obama is a muslim?

I mean even if he was it wouldn't matter. But this is a lie. A lie to try and strike fear in the less than intelligent among us. I have seen this in many answers as well as a few questions on this sight.

1. It's Hillary supporters. He did grow up as a boy in Indonesia, a Muslim country.

10. Sorry to inform you BUT it's not the conservatives that are saying this.. It's the Hillary Camp.. The conservatives are watching what is happening in the republican party and really make very few references to obama. Hillary constantly puts out garbage in order to deface anyone she feels is a threat.. I am sure in the national election the conservatives will attack obama but right now we are still in the party nominations and the only one who is trying to bring this garbage rumor to the top is Hillary.. And she is the only one that will gain by these false rumors. The conseratives HATE Hillary more then anyone else running, as do MOST people, so WHY would they put negitives out there about Obama? hahaha i see by all the thumbs down that the Hillary Camp is still wandering the net and thumbing down anyone who refuses to fall for her crap. Mention something bad about Hillary (even if it's very obvious and you get instant thumbs down) haha they all are a joke!
11. Actually I'm a democrat and I think that Osama bin Lama's connections to an assalant of muslim organizations is quite concerning. One should scrutinize and be skeptical when they are unsure. He says his a Christian but his church is not only racist (hates all races except those not black) but it too has muslim organizations some controversially extremist. Truly disgusting how the man manipulates people, he simply insults the American publics intellect.
12. Conservatives live in a world of fantasies and delusions. Rush Limbaugh even gets his fantasies and delusions from oxycontin...and people still believe him! Seriously, they believe everybody on welfare is driving a cadillac and living like a king, even though most people on welfare are actually starving children. Love the zygote, hate the kid. They think people in prison are living lives of luxury and need to be tortured yet illogically enough they want to send even more people to live in those lavish luxurious prisons. They are eager to believe the worst about others. I was a conservative as a kid. I know what I'm talking about. Its fantasy, its delusion. The prejudice and irrationality of conservatism finally drove me away from it.

For those who continue claiming that others are "scared" of Obama: scared of WHAT? Can someone please specify what it is to be afraid of?
