Barack Obama?

Do you seriously think Barack Obama can win the election? Why and why not? State your answers.

1. No. He hasn't got the experience he needs to be the President.
2. He will never even get on the Demo's ticket. Too inexperienced.

Sure he can win...As long as he can keep secrete his intentions to increase taxes (for everyone who pays income taxes); advance racial preferences; federal legalization of homosexual 'marriages'; sabotage the War on Terror/Islamofascists; welcome illegal immigrants/not enforce border laws; and promote corporate policies that reduce our international competitiveness. The last thing Obama (or other democrats/socialist leaders) want is for voters to be aware of the policies they intend to enact. This is why the Democrat congress hasn't done squat since taking over in '06.
5. I think Barack can win the election if people put aside their stereotypes and prejudices. If people look pass his skin color, I think he can. As far as someone saying he has an Arab heritage, I believe his father was African and his mom is white. These are the stereotypes I was talking about. Even if true, I'm sure that every President has heritage from another culture. Their were no Native American Presidents, everyone here originated from another country. Why do people think that American is synonymous with being white ?
6. He is currently polling within range of winning in 3 of the most important early primary states. If he could win at least 2 of those states it's likely he will gain more support in other states and Clinton's support would decline. It is very possible at this point that Obama could win the democratic nomination. If he were to win the democratic nomination, Obama's message appeals to moderate republicans and independant voters so I would say he would have a great shot of winning the general election.
7. If he can get the Democratic nomination (over Hilary), he has a real chance at becoming the next President.
8. I think he will win because this country is in desperate need for change. That and he is hands down the most honest, intelligent candidate running. Picking Hillary will just extend the same old, corrupt politics as usual. As for the other Dem candidates they should pack it up and throw their support behind who they believe in. At this point in the game it's going to be Hillary or Obama for the Dems, let's face it. OBAMA '08
