Which election would you say was the most important election you have ever voted for?
This can included a federal (country) government election, state government, county government, city government, or a schoolboard election. I would say the most important election I voted for was the 2000 Presidential Election because it was the first time I could vote in a major and important election.
Public Comments
- 2000, when I helped elect Al Gore president. Of course, things didn't turn out the way the electorate wanted...
- The 1992 Presidential Election between the First Bush and Clinton.
- EVEN THOUGH THE WORDS ARE TWISTED. I EVENTUALLY READ BETWEEN THE LINES. I SOLELY VOTE ON REFERENDUMS.
- Every election since my first in 1973 has been important. It has changed & shaped my life.
- THE MOST INPORTANT ELECTION I VOTED FOR WAS FOR THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
- I agree that the 2000 Presidential election was the most important to me too. I was ready to get rid of the liberal bafoon we had in there. And I'm not so sure how good of a job a liberal would have dealt with the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Although I am not thoroughly pleased with the Bush administration, I do believe they have done a better job than any Democrats would have done if they had been elected President.
- The next one, because if things don't change in 2006, we will not be a republic anymore.
- '92, Bush Clinton and Perot. My candidate Perot lost.
- 1992
- It will be the 2006 midterm elections. Other than that it would have to be the 2000 election when I voted for Nader.
- 2004 election just think of the mess if Kerry was President if that don't scare a person nothing will
- Every single election is important. No one election is more important than the others.
