Do you support Ron Paul for President 2012?

Why or why not do you support Ron Paul for President 2012? And say he will be in optimal health at that time so age isnt an issue.

  1. yeah
  2. Anybody but Obama.
  3. No need. We have a President until 2016 for now.
  4. yep
  5. No matter what, he would be an improvement over what we got. He would be an improvement over Obama or McCain. He appears to be a good honest man, maybe that is why he won't have a chance.
  6. Well, I am a proud Obama hater. I really wanted McCain 2 win, but if it was Ron Paul or Obama, I'd have to say Ron Paul. Funny- my friend's mom is obsessed with him- she still have six signs in her lawn for him.
  7. No. I am glad that Ron Paul exists, but would not vote for him for President. Ever.
  8. if mitt romney does not run yes....
  9. I would in a heart beat, but unfortunately he wont run due to age. I wish he was 45.
  10. No, Ron Paul is not a realist. Does he actually expect to be able to make the changes that he promises? If he runs as an independent, he will not just have an opposition Congress, he will have no support there what so ever. In that circumstance, what can Ron Paul actually get done? Either Ron Paul does not know that he would not be able to do what he promises (getting rid of the IRS, CIA, etc), which makes him unrealistic, or he does know that and he is just saying things in order to get elected. How does that make him different than any other politician?
  11. I don't make my decision this early...so I can't say. I can tell you however, that my vote will not be cast for either a Republican or Democrat. I will vote for a viable third party candidate unless the person is a total idiot.
  12. Yes, and with great joy and pride - for the first time in a long time. He understands the Constitution, it's limits, it's responsibilities. He would return this country to it's rightful owners - US. He saw this financial meltdown coming a long time ago. If we had listened to him it wouldn't be happening to us. He realizes that the Federal Reserve is NOT necessary, indeed, they ARE the problem. this mess was created by them. Congress and Senate would work with him IF we placed them under pressure to do so. They are supposed to be OUR voices in the government - we have allowed them to "have their way" with us for way too long now.
  13. maybe. If he ran as an independent or a libertarian. i don't like the republican platforms on social issues but they have great ideas of fiscal issues. I would love it if a viable independent or libertarian candidate ran. no more republicans.
  14. I absolutely support him for President in 2012. When I look at the drawbacks the others have, and Ron Paul's consistent record, age pales as a consideration.
