Is Rudy Giuliani the main person to fight for marriage?

This is absolutely comical! Rudy Giuliani obviously wants to run for Governor of New York. What is his main social issue to tackle? Marriage. He claims the sanctity of marriage needs to be protected, that marriage is between a man and a woman. Now, if this statement was made by anyone else...I would listen and accept his opinion. However, Rudy is a three time divorcee, one of which was to his second cousin and is a cross-dressing drag queen! Really...Rudy. Back off, you hypocritical piece of crap!!!

  1. He's the biggest self-aggrandizing joke in American history.
  2. Rudy Giuliani was married 3 times, and his 1st wfie was his own cousin! and his 2nd & 3rd wives also married 3 different spouses! plus he cross-dresses. and he has the nerve to say gays threaten the sanctity of marriage? and he's not the only one to do this after losing all credibility; Newt Gingrich appeared in ads in California talking about how gays threaten the sanctity of marriage. Newt's own sister is gay. And Newt isn't exactly clean himself. He was married 3 times. he dumped his 1st wife while in the hospital. and he cheated on his 2nd wife. and then there's Rush Limbaugh. He divorced 3 times. and his 1st marriage only lasted 3 years. and John McCain. married twice. dumped his 1st wife who stood by him while in captivity.......who was also the same age as him......... dumped her for a younger richer woman with 100 million dollars. and Fred Thompson. -married twice -married a woman young enough to be his daughter. and Jack Ryan, had a sex scandal and Larry Craig, do I need to go there?
  3. The "sancity of marriage" got thrown out the window when no-fault divorce became the norm some 30-40 years ago, that's why I don't understand these conservative quacks crying about marriage, when the divorce rate for heterosexual marriage is like 75%. Wow, sure looks sacred, huh? Gay marriage only affects the lives of the two people getting married, anybody opposed to gay marriage just has to come to terms that they are homophobic, because there's no logical reason to oppose it.
  4. He's got EXPERIENCE! He can address the problem because he knows exactly what ruins a marriage.
  5. At least he didn't come home after Viet Nam and dump his wife and marry into money like McCain did.
  6. Couldnt agree more
  7. There's a part of me that agrees with you. I will say this, though; politically, I'd rather align with the hypocrite who supports my view than the hypocrite who doesn't. Therefore, as sickening as I think it may be, I have to align with Mr Giuliani, as he better represents my point of view. To answer your main question; no, he shouldn't be, but no one else wants to take up that fight right now in New York, either.
  8. 1st Amendment Separation of church and state.
  9. I hope so. Guiliani is crazy to get involved on this issue.
  10. The next thing you're going to tell us is that Rudy going against recommendations that he shouldn't put NYC's emergency response center in the WRC towers was a bad idea. Oops, that's right, it was a terrible idea.
