What was the first election you voted in?
This past one was the first election in which I was old enough to vote. I voted for Obama. Though in my third grade class back in 1996 I voted for Bob Dole lol. What was the first election you voted in and who did you vote for?

- It will be the next election where I will be able to take part in bringing Obama down. It will be exciting.
- my first was the 2004 election, i voted for bush..bc i thought kerry was a douche then i voted for obama..and its still not going to well for us now either...oh well
- lol. Bob Dole. I was first old enough to vote in 2000. Voted then and ever since.
- Bush the first. '88.
- 1992 ross peroit, needed to end bush sr term, and didn't want Clinton.
- Gore vs Bush, I voted Gore by stupidity (pure emotion). I could vote before that but didn't care.
- Nearly everyone who voted for the first time, voted for Obama. The first time I voted, it was for Nixon. Of course that was before I had heard about Watergate. That was before the Watergate burglary occurred.. It was the Primary in Illinois which occurred in March of 1972. The Watergate burglary didn't occur until June 17th.
- When I was a liberal , Sadly I first voted for Bill Clinton in 1992. I have since become a Republican, thank God. God bless.
- 1960 voted for J.F.K.
- 1976, I voted for Carter because Watergate was too fresh in my mind at that time to trust a Republican.
- 1980. Got to the polling station half an hour before it opened at 6AM. I wanted to make sure i was one of the first people to throw Carter out on his buttox.
- 1972, McGovern. Watergate didn't bother me, I expected that kind of stuff from Nixon. BTW, Goldwater was the first politician I liked. Still do. Still don't get along with the Nixon, Reagan, Bush branch of the Republican Party. Don't care for the Kennedy branch of the Democratic party. Liked Jesse Ventura. Confused?
- 1959 - Voted for John F. Kennedy! :-)
