What would the US be like if Rudy Giuliani was elected President?

well?

Public Comments

  1. Rudy would get rid of squeegie guys worldwide.
  2. Marginally better than it is now. Just say no to RINO Rudy!!!
  3. I don't know. He didn't stand for anything beside 9/11.
  4. We'd all be talking about the dress "he" wore for the inauguration.
  5. SAFE
  6. As a conservative I would never vote for Giuliani. He's another Arnold Schwarzenegger, a liberal Democrat with a Republican name tag. God bless.
  7. At some point there would be a gathering at which he would address the crowd. The crowd would start to chant "Rudy, Rudy, Rudy..". And people nearby oblivious to the rally would be like 'I'm in the movie Rudy, I can hear the chanting just down the way'. But that wouldn't actually be the case at all. They would be mistaken.
  8. Wow. really messed up. His temper is too much, he has a huge ego and he cannot abide criticism. He had few ideas besides pounding his rather dubious role in 9-11 down peoples throats. If he would have listened to some brighter people beforehand, he would have decentralized all the communication from the central towers after the first bombing in the 90's. The influx of greater communication could have perhaps helped first responders to the scene, as well as evacuation procedures. He took credit for other people's work, and also had several corrupt individuals working for him, practicing much the same cronyism Bush II did. Although not a McCain fan, at least he was better than Giuliani.
  9. Not that much better than California.
  10. Looking back on the field of candidate's it is my opinion only one could have served this country well, and in a fiscally responsible manner that would have brought the economy back in a responsible and calculated manner. That would be Mitt Romney. At the time he wasn't my choice, but after watching McCain's less than creative and uninspiring campaign, it made me realize that sadly, Obama was going to get in as the blacks abandoned their original choice, to assure that a black will win. Rudy Giuliani's only claim to fame was his dedication in the post 9/11 days to keep the morale level high by his presence as New York mayor. This would not make him presidential, and his efforts did seem to wain as his popularity also disappear due to a lackluster campaign.
