Why does President Barack Obama hate the United Kingdom so much?
does it have to do with the Slavery Days http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/iain_martin/blog/2009/03/06/president_barack_obama_dislikes_britain_but_hes_keen_to_meet_the_queen or maybe its because Kenya, his home of birth was former colony of the UK?

- He doesn't and the premise for your question is entirely a figment of your own imagination.

- James Delingpole writes in the British Daily Telegraph that Michelle Obama or Lady Macbeth as he referred to her, was responsible for Obama's recent snub of the British PM, whom he only reluctantly saw for a brief 30 minute chat and whose official press conference was cancelled. In fact the meeting between Obama and Brown was the most awkward and uncomfortable meeting I have witnessed between an American President and British Prime Minister, and one that put pay to any thoughts of a 'special relationship' between the two countries. Last month Obama sent a bust of William Churchill that sat on the Presidential Desk when Bush was in power back to Britain. British officials offered to let Mr Obama hang onto the bust for a further four years, the White House said: "Thanks, but no thanks." This could well be an indication of what is to come regarding relations with Britain. Indeed if Obama doesn't like Churchill, probably one of the greatest ever Britons then there is little hope for visiting British PM's or American & British relations under his tenure. http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/james_delingpole/blog/2009/03/05/was_lady_macbeth_behind_barack_obamas_snub_of_gordon_brown http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/barackobama/4623148/Barack-Obama-sends-bust-of-Winston-Churchill-on-its-way-back-to-Britain.html Delingpole goes on to suggest that Michelle Obama dislikes the British due to their role in the slave trade, even though Britain was actually the first country to ban slavery through the efforts of William Wilberforce and others. What Delingpole does highlight is a woman with deep and dangerous political convictions which are usually based around the concept that the whole world is racist and against her. To quote Delingpole - Consider her notorious statement that: "For the first time in my adult life I am really proud of my country." Consider her (till-recently suppressed) Princeton thesis, "Princeton Educated Blacks And The Black Community." In it she writes: "I have found that at Princeton, no matter how liberal and open-minded some of my white professors and classmates try to be toward me, I sometimes feel like a visitor on campus; as if I really don't belong. Regardless of the circumstances underwhich I interact with whites at Princeton, it often seems as if, to them, I will always be black first and a student second."
- A freind to the US is an enemy to radical Islam which equals an enemy to Obama.
- I cant believe that cheesy gift he gave Brown
- I think he has more things to focus on than foreign dignitaries being given gifts that are socially acceptable to rich people. by the way, I've been to Britain once for about 10 days...its nice and all, but it isn't exactly my cup of tea.
- Oh my. They gave boys toy helicopters? Ghastly.
- Why should he bother developing a special relationship with a lame duck PM?
- NEXT.
- Actually, I'm not sure that he hates, or even dislikes the U.K. No evidence so far, one way or the other.
- Obama gave back a bust of Sir Winston Churchill, to the UK that had been in his oval office for some time. Churchill was probably the greatest politician of modern times. If I were a citizen Of the UK I would be really insulted. As an American I feel ashamed
- He doesn't
