14. When you read the article you realise it was used in a playful way. I find it funny. He was basically being friendly and indicating to a former senate colleague that he didn't have to be so formal and call him "Mr Vice President". I mean it's not at all like he was telling a US senator to "go f*^& himself" on the senate floor.
15. I think he is human and forgot to look around before he spoke. He is not the first and won't the be the last to say the f-word outloud.
