- Get government out of the way.
- Return to the constitution, cut taxes to the baseline and pretty much do away with waste.
- I think a lot of people are sorry that they did not vote in Ron Paul.... I voted for McCain, .... Ron Paul would have done a great Economy recovery plan!
- not likely
- SIGNIFICANTLY reduce the size and scope of government, government agencies and government enforced oversight of business. He would demand oversight on the GOVERNMENT (not on private business so much) and would lower or remove all unconstitutional taxes (starting with the income tax). He would remove the federal reserve and go to hard currency that is backed and in good standing. He would also utilize the military for it's true use (national defense) and would pull out of most of the 700+ bases in around 130 countries throughout the world. Creating tighter borders for America and better national security. All of these actions would increase the dollars you keep (which would flow back into our economy), reduce the dollars the government keeps and would increase actual FLOW of money.
- I wish I would have known more about him before the election. He would restore the government to what it should be: limited and for the people instead of for itself. He would cut useless spending and pull us out of the Iraq/Afghanistan war. He will be running in 2012, and I will be spreading the word about him. Youtube has several videos on him and he has his own website: www.ronpaul.com or www.ronpaul.org I can't remember which.
- Below is a list of things I have heard Ron Paul say he would change about our economy - End the Federal Reserve - Reinsitute the gold standard and honest banking (100% fractional reserve) - Abolish the income tax - Abolish most of the departments - End policing of the world - End government subsidies and most government intervention in the free market
- All of this sounds terrific but most things still have to go thru congress. And no matter which side of that you fall on, they all have to get theirs. Real change is slow coming because of what the system has become, corrupt. To most members of congress it's a conflict of interest just showing up for work.
- Hard to argue with this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0k92fTDReHg One of his best interviews
