Was Rudy Giuliani overall a good Mayor?

I only want to hear from people who live in New York City. I know that he went overboard on the 9/11 hero stuff but didn't clean up the city. I mean New York City became a safe city. In my opinion he was much better then Dinkins. However I will admit that I did not support him for President.

1. As good as any they have had and better than most.
2. he was outstanding, my dad was a cop under him and he was a decisive leader and didn't take crap.
3. The best NY City has ever had. Giuliani was America's Mayor and handled the 911 crisis with class and honor.
4. Rudi Guiliani was having an AFFAIR with some STRUMPET while in office as Mayor of New York. He later divorced his wife.......and married his mistress.....his THIRD wife. I laughed until I CRIED, when the republicans ran him on the family values ticket.......... I thought.........MY God, it's true..........they ALL must be smoking CRACK or something!!!!!!!!!! I mean....it was too hilarious......to watch this philandering piece of crud..........take pot shots at CLINTON's Behavior, like HE was some frigging saint. As for the City........he should be SHOT for what he did to TIMES SQUARE. Yeah, okay......it's cleaner.........he moved all the ho's over to 8th ave....... but damnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, he could have left SOMETHING interesting at the Crossroads of America. Did we REALLY need a "Bubba Gump souvenir shop", and a TOYs 'r US? Toys r US, on 42nd, st???????? Do you have any idea how SICK that is???? I cringe every time I see the Square now.........and the GAP stores......and the Starbucks coffee shop.......... it's HORRIBLE...............just freaking HORRIBLE.........it's sooooooooooo BLAND ya want to barf. Times Square use to be the SH*T. Now.......it's a place to bring your kids for a Happy meal. I wouldn't have voted for that MORON, if PALIN was the other choice!
5. I always thought he was. He was a great leader during 9/11 and everything.
6. Ask his daughter Caroline, who publicly endorsed Obama during the primaries while her father's presidential campaign was still active.
7. He was okay, I don't think he was as much at the forefront on the war on terror as he tries to make himself. I like Bloomberg much better.
