Are the Israeli ready to resume real peace negotiation after the new election?

Or more of the same. If so what is the use of having an election. Without ending, the Israeli occupation of other people lands there will never be peace in the Middle East.

10. Whats the use of having an election in a democratic state? Let me see - I am sure isreal has need for a prime minister, home minister, foreign minister etc??? I disagree that isreali occupation is the only problem of the palestinians - i think the biggest problem is lack of support from other arab states. I also feel this is right time for palestinians to wisen up and realise that the arabs have forsaken them. after all, egypt and jordon have trade links with isreal and saudis will shut up if america tells them to and watch palestinians die for as long as it takes. So why shudnt palestinians take advantage of those trade links too - forget this insane fight for a sepearte state - how many states are there going to be now that there are hamas and fateh divisions??? and what will you gain from it? And do you think the problems wil go away if isreal went away - which its not going to? Palestine should be turned into a sort of autonomous allied territories to isreal and just take the help of isreal to get back on their feet till thye can function independently.... i think isreal can be a really beneficial influence on an autonomous palestinian state. now both sides need to agree on a framework and, first of all, need to start respecting each other and realise that they need to co-exist. no one is going to walk away just bcos the other wishes so.

Its really sad actually, i think god is punishing the people of palestine because they are not united, because they are fighting each other rather than fighting the enemy. The Israelis are having a great time watching this, as far as they are concerned hamas and fatah are making their job easier and saving them a lot of effort. Do you think Israel wants to get rid of Hamas? if you do you are so nieve. Israel relies on hamas to be able to do what they are doing to the palestinians. They are not muslims nor do they give a crap about Islam. So in regards to your question I agree with what ariah said, they are in charge and they will never accept defeat. Peace to the Jews is a another word for defeat, they cannot sleep at night knowing that they are not superiour to us and that we are NOT beneath them, this thought gives them a feeling of comfort. Palestine can only be taken back by force, it was taken by force and thats how it will return. These people are not the faces for peace, neither Israelis nor palestinian leaders. I wish it was different.

I really don't know why should we as Palestinians, care for their election. they are all the same with the same goal. killing all Arabs. didn't you read what the Zionists solders wrote on the walls of the destroyed homes that they destroyed?? Walls were defaced with crude threats written in Hebrew, such as “next time it will hurt more". In every case the soldiers had smashed holes in the outer walls of the houses to use as lookout and sniper positions.
