  1. So watching the inauguration of Barrack Obama, I've just noticed he's black, you woulda thought they'd have made a bigger deal of that one wouldn't you?
  2. yes very encouraged and thought it was a great speech
  3. They did make the biggest deal of him being black within the past 3 months, today must have been a day off for it. As for the whole thing, it was a 4 day circus, i mean come on now, 150 million dollars to the whole event, what was the whole point?
  4. Straight to the point Got a job to do and he's gonna need everyone to help him do it : ) Good luck Mr President
  5. times are going be changing
  6. I was moved, as usual by him. :)
  7. Yes, I was very encouraged. He gave a wonderful speech and I wish him the best of luck :)
  8. The whole event was inspiring ! The crowds were diverse, a mixture of all peoples. We have come together as one. His speech was right on and to the point. He has hit the ground running.. I am looking forward to getting our country back on track. I for one will "stand up , dust myself off, and carry on " ! I believe he is the right man at the right time. BRAVO ! Mr. President
  9. All that Raz-ma-taz !!! He is just a Man . A nice person only as far as I know. The Ceremonies are nice but seems rather contrived. At This very moment ,there are hundreds of thousands who are doing what they MUST do . Carers , Nurses & Doctors in surgery,Train Drivers,Bus Drivers,Pilots ,People wandering how to bury their Dead .Thousands in Pain and Sorrow with no body to care.Bewildered infants traumatised and hurt. Our Soldiers fighting abroad . Poverty and Now destitution too. These are the Issues we all have to promote towards a lasting solution. So Pardon me if I do not feel like celebrating. Not just yet anyway.
  10. Yes, I am very encouraged by his speech
