Should we have a new election when ballots are screwed up beyond accurate counting?
I would think that a new election might resolve some of this ballot stuff but this is as bad now as back before electronic ballots. It's all a crooked and dirty political mess.

- Screwed up according to who? Sounds like "loserman' snydrome
- It's too expensive. However, what we should have is a nationally standardized paper ballot.
- Yeah. How exactly did dead people and people who don't exist vote anyway? Odd...
- without a doubt.
- And have a honest election?
- If one side in an election starts "finding" ballots in the trunks of their cars after the fact, I think that side should automatically lose.
- Its time to find a new way to vote. While were at that lets dump the screwed up Electoral College too. Its Inaccurate, Ineffective, and doesn't represent America's wishes.
- If you're referring to Minnesota: a new election would undoubtedly be very close. And then there would have to be another recount.
- Well, that depends... If the Republican is ahead, then yes...of course, have a new election. If the Democrat is ahead, just find some unsupervised ballots in somebody's trunk days after the polls close and count them until you are ahead. If appointing a Democrat will preserve the Senate Majority, then do that instead of having an election, even if your Governor sold or bartered the Democratic seat and is under Federal Indictment and pending impeachment AND Congress and the State AG said no appointee will be seated. If appointing a rich, famous Democratic female will give Obama a white female running mate in 2012, then appoint her. (now we know what Obama paid for her endorsement at that critical juncture in the Primary) However, if a Republican Governor is about to be appointed to replace a Republican Senator tied up with legal trouble pending appeal, then hold a special election to take advantage of the typical "party switch" that occurs and get a Dem in there. And if ACORN registered them, then count all of those. Any more questions?
- Obama cheated, and everyone knows it. I guess if they can live with a cheater, then they can also live with a crook. Obama won't be around long. So I'm not even going to worry about it.
