What should be done to make the election process more efficient?
Make Election Day a national holiday? Make Election Day an"Election Weekend"? Only vote with a paper and pencil and get rid of the electronic voting system? ...Agree? Disagree? What would you suggest?

- First of all, regional primaries. Iowa and New Hampshire should not elect our contenders. Second, no polling announced on election day. If the networks can keep who dies on Lost or who wins American Idol a secret, they can do the same for the elections. Third, simplifying the election forms. Uniform forms designed by fifth graders. Fourth, ID required at polls. Finally, cookies served while waiting in line on Tuesday.
- there are actually roving voting stations across the country intended for early voting. To avoid long lines during the actual election day, you could vote early. I think paper voting and electronic voting has both pros and cons. Paper voting may take a lot of time to count.the electronic voting system is faster. But computer alteration is very easy and may eventually be trackless if done successfully. since the EVS rules for the meantime, i suggest pre-write your votes on a sheet of paper then just copy them unto the computer. try to vote as early as possible to avoid long lines. election as a national holiday, i dont think so. if it would become a national holiday, then both you and your child/ren would be at home. getting a babysitter may become a problem since most of them would also vote. vote wisely..
