As the next President, what should John McCain do to fix the economy, after failure of the Democrat Congress?
The Democrat controlled Congress has blocked legislation to fix the economy for the last two years, except for the $700 million bailout. What should President McCain do to fix the economy over the next four years? Sorry, I meant to say $700 Billion bailout... The Democrats also blocked the legislation that Senator John McCain co-sponsored to fix Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac several years ago. The Democrat party didn't do anything useful to help in Iraq and that let this financial mess happen by blocking Republican efforts to regulate Wall Street.

- First thing to do, and this will restore confidence, is to have Senator Dodd arrested and charged with bribery for accepting a $75,000 mortgage break from Countrywide, while overseeing the banking laws. Then have Charlie Rangel arrested for tax evasion on the unpaid income he hid in the Caribbean, while writing our nations tax laws. then move onto Barney Frank and Maxine Waters.
- Of course as a democrat I have a problem with your question as well as the blame game your party plays all the time. Remind me who was our President in the last 8 yrs and what party did he represent? Also did we have a booming economy or a disastrous, horrific, downward spiraling economy? Oh one last question b4 Bush who was in office, what party did he represent and did we have a huge deficit or a big surplus. But to answer your question if McSame and Failing get elected into office god forbid the best thing he could do is to step down and let the right man do the job. OBAMA/BIDEN 08
