Is Ron Paul still running for 2008 presidency?

IDK if Ron Paul is still in the race im getting mixed stories so i just wanna know if ppl can still write him in on November. If not then is Ralph Nader running (again mixed stories)? If neither of these men are who are the other candidates that i can vote for. P.S. not that votes matter i just like to imagine that they do

  1. I hope so.
  2. I really really hope so. Because he'll steal votes from McCain.
  3. yeah i think he might
  4. no he isn't but he is backing and supporting candidates who share his ideology http://www.campaignforliberty.com/ The old media is dying, we have coverage with the internet. Soon, the others with get curious. Rome wasn’t built in a day. One mind and one heart at a time, that is all that is needed. Time is on our side.
  5. He is no longer running. He dropped out quite a while ago. And yes, Ralph Nader is running again. There are plenty of other candidates out there too, including Bob Barr (libertarian party) and some green party chick (I forget her name). The bad news is that voting for any of these people is pretty much throwing your vote away. But if you are partial to "voting your conscience" then go for it!
  6. I don't think he is still actively campaigning, but he is still in the race. Remember, you can always write-in(again, not like our votes matter) Ralph Nader is running, though, but as a Green party candidate. I don't really lik ehim much, though, because he is pretty right-wing for an independent. Especially for a green party guy.
  7. Ron Paul is out of the race (there is a write-in campaign, but I doubt the votes will be counted). Ralph Nader is running. Others include Bob Barr, Chuck Baldwin, and Cynthia McKinney (obviously, I'm excluding McBama). I'm personally undecided on what I'm doing in November (I'm left-libertarian, which means I'm in between Barr/Baldwin and McKinney/Nader), although I intend to do whatever is most likely to maximize Ron Paul's chances in 2012 (Bob Barr's entry has one benefit, which is to put McCain down 15 in the polls to Obama; of course, McCain is so crazy and out of touch that he's going down further as the election goes on). It might also be a good idea to look down the ballot. Presidential races are so large that 1 vote is insignificant, but 1 vote can decide a race at the state or local level (there have even been times when nobody showed up to vote on election day for local offices, so 1 vote could have determined the course of the election).
  8. No, he did suspend his race last month, sadly. But... he will still attract a huge online base where concerned Americans can re-group, elect people to run for office, and he will group his own GOP convention in St. Paul, Minn on Sept. 2. Hopefully, you can join. And there are still other people who are running, like Ron Paul supporter Chuck Baldwin, Ron Paul's friend Bob Barr, and Ralph Nader. Take care.
