I understand that Ron Paul is an unelectable kook. So, why is he perceived as such a threat?

No one is attacking or smearing Ronald McDonald, George Clooney, or Oprah Winfrey. Ron Paul really scares these neo-Clowns, doesn't he? Attack, attack, attack! (He's no threat.) Attack, attack, attack! (He's unelectable.) Attack, attack, attack! (Ron who?) Do you freaks ALWAYS attack non-threats? Are you shooting at the shadows on the wall? You look foolish, but keep attacking. Ron enjoys the exposure. Just keep right on attacking that non-threat. That tin-foil hat you're wearing may be distorting the Ron Paul 2008 Brain Beam. Take the foil off of your head, you'll be more comfortable.

  1. I think he is perceived more as comedic relief, rather than a threat.
  2. Don't you mean Rue Paul? That's who scares me.
  3. funny Ron Paul will not win because its fixed not because he does not have the answers. I think it is always nice that truth is heard even if it is not heeded. Edmond Burke said that people get the government that they deserve.. America has Bush ... now???????????????? I see that he is right Americans do not understand historical blowback from foreign policies. Historically dysfunctional. Ask the British they are the last ones to fall before America.... Pride goes before a fall...
  4. yeah, but what is the guy's last name? Is he a republican? Independent? Libertarian?
  5. Actually I enjoy attacking Ron Paul. I am a life long Republican and a conservative. He is a life long libertarian and holds libertarian not conservative views. I attack because he is not a Republican and does not deserve having an "R" behind his name. For example his views on 9/11. He blames us - you - me - the United States for what happened on 9/11. He blames our societal choices in defending Kuwaitt and Saudi Arabia from Saddam as the cuase. Conservatives would never blame the US for this - conservatives believe in personal responsibility of the perpetrator. Our actions for Saudi Arabia and Kuwaitt do not warrant the 9/11 result and thus we are not at fault. So long as he wants to blame "ME" for 9/11 I will attack "HIM" as long as I want.
  6. No one in his right mind would perceive him as a threat.
  7. He's not a threat. There's just so many of his Internet Warriors spamming, you end up talking about him a lot. And there's also that that 'netjr' mentioned, he'll always be someone I enjoy insulting because of his 9/11 comment, and probably Rudy as well. Rudy knows he's not a threat, it's personal.
  8. Actually, Ron Paul has a lot of support simply because he is so different from the other Republican candidates. Reminds me a bit of the movie, Man of the Year. No electronic voting fraud to bring him into office, though... sorry...
  9. the truth , shines a light in the dark of night , to reveal the machinations of truly evil men and the evil men are who have been running our country in the ground. time to take the country back from the few back into the hands of the citizens. Ron Paul 08' the only wasted vote is for the status quo vote 3rd party the republicans and Democrats are truly failed parties, and need to be cast to the side they are not salvageable
  10. RON PAUL WILL WIN!!! RON PAUL REVOLUTION!!! JOIN IT!!! They are scared of losing there power, of the people having freedom and of the world no longer be punished by us. They will lose their economic interest such as big oil. Ron Paul gives us hope and they fear him more than anything else.
  11. He reminds the rest of the Republicans that they are very far from their roots of being fiscal conservatives.
  12. He is not a threat as much as he is an annoyance.
  13. First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win. Gandhi
  14. You know at first I thought the average Joe Q. American was smart enough to distinguish obvious political smeer tactics & out-right lies from the truth.....but apparently only the clear headed un-biased, un-flappable, open minded, patriotic types af Americans are. Could it be a huge majority of Americans cannot read & write anything but slander, without distorting facts??? Ron Paul is very simply a "TRUE" AMERICAN,,,Constitutionalist, trying to save the USA from the grips of Tyranny,,,,,,,and sadly many Americans will not accept this fact. Thank you for the question. *********************************************************
  15. He is perceived as a threat to the republicans because if he runs as a third party he will take votes away from the republicans much the same way Ralph Nader took votes away from the Democrats in 2000. I hope he runs.
  16. I've heard his ideas are well received by many Republicans but that his mannerisms keep him from being a real political candidate.
  17. in emperor courts there use to royal commedians /bafoons . some of them ascended the throne being close to the seat of power
  18. WHO is attacking him? What is a neo-Clown? Who are freaks? Do you have anyone specific or is this just campaign rhetoric? Do you feel better now that you have ranted?
  19. Ron Paul is the only candidate that I've seen in debates, that actually debates.. lol.. He addresses the issues and I have to say that I agree with him for the most part.. netjr, Your assertion is completely wrong.. That is a common misconception.. No where in his statement did he imply the citizens of the United States are responsible for anything.. He suggested we reevaluate our foreign policy, because there is such a thing as blow-back.. His comment was directed towards the policy makers in the government (and considering the current outcome of the Iraq war, I don't see how anyone could object) By the way this was already CONFIRMED by both the CIA, AND THE 9/11 COMMISSION REPORT From the 9/11 Commission Report (As written on) proving Rudy Giuliani and blowback deniers wrong http://ronpaul.typepad.com/my_weblog/2007/06/ron_paul_and_th.html): •pg. 57- The Persian Gulf War, seen by many as perhaps the most effective military victory in American history, had unintended consequences that American policymakers could never have predicted. When Saddam invaded Iraq, the US gathered a coalition, based out of Saudi Arabia, to liberate Kuwait. At this time, Bin Ladin "proposed to the Saudi monarchy that he summon mujahideen for a jihad to retake Kuwait." The Saudis said no and jumped in bed with the Americans. After further protests, Bin Ladin was booted from his homeland and went into exile. This cemented Bin Ladin's hatred of both the Saudi monarchy and the US, as they were now in partnership desecrating the holy lands. •pg. 59- Bin Laden's first fatwa against the US (1992) was first and foremost a protest against American occupation of Muslim holy lands, specifically Saudi Arabia. It was not a call to kill Americans because they were rich and free, it was a call to expel American troops from Arab lands. •pg. 48- Bin Ladin's 1996 fatwa against the United States was not a blanket condemnation of America and a call to arms to destroy the American nation. The fatwa declared the limited aim of driving US soldiers out of Saudi Arabia. The American presence in Saudi Arabia, a byproduct of America's promise to protect the Saudis from Saddam during the Persian Gulf War and beyond, infuriated Muslim fundamentalist because in their eyes, infidels were occupying the holy land. Bin Ladin also spent significant energy condemning the Saudi government for allowing this occupation. •pg. 49- In discussing the grievances aired by Bin Ladin against the United States, the 9/11 Commission Report specifically calls out "the suffering of the Iraqi people as a result of the sanctions imposed after the Gulf War". Listen again to Guiliani's rebuke of Ron Paul over the idea of our involvement in Iraq playing in part of motivating al-Qaeda to attack America. If this is the most absurd explanation Guiliani has heard regarding the motives behind the planners and implementers of the 9/11 attacks, then I wonder (with dread) what he has been listening to. •pg. 49- also lists American support of Israel as a major grievance of Bin Ladin. •pg. 51- al-Qaeda's ultimate ambition is not specifically the destruction of the US- it's the establishment of the Caliphate to unify all Muslims. To Muslim fundamentalists, America's extensive involvement in the internal affairs of sovereign Muslim nations (the Shah, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Jordan, etc) props us secular governments and delays the future ascendancy of the Caliphate. Attacking America is not an end in itself, just a means (one of many) to another end. If they hated countries just for their freedoms, you would expect enormous terrorist attacks in Switzerland, Luxembourg, Iceland, and dozens of other countries. You don't, there's a reason. •pg. 147- Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the operational mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks and the Bojinka Plot, attended college in the United States and lived here for several years. Obviously, someone who lived here and then later orchestrated a murderous assault on our country hated us because of the freedoms, pleasures, and raunchy behavior we enjoy? No, it was because he hated our strongly favorable foreign policy preference for Israel. •pg. 362- The Report reiterates that Muslim fundamentalist's hatred for America stems from "grievances stressed by Bin Ladin and widely felt throughout the Muslim world." These grievances are absolutely political- US military presence in Arab lands, favoritism towards Israel, and policies perceived as anti-Muslim. The 9/11 Commission Report does not list our freedoms or wealth as a contributing motive for terrorist attacks against our nation.
  20. He's the ONLY conservative in the race. Hey netjr, he doesn't blame you or me or the citizens of the U.S. for 9/11, he blames various administrations for their failed foreign policy, and he's right. Our imperialistic government allows the Islamofascists to easily recruit for terrorism. Ron Paul is attacked because he speaks the truth, exposing our federal government for what they exactly are: a bunch of socialists and fascists who have the same goal in mind - to strip the freedoms away from the people until we are no longer citizens, but subjects.
  21. You are probably not old enough to remember Pat Paulson, but he was probably the best candidate for President that has come up in over the last 35 years. I even voted for him in the last election, even though he has been dead for years.
