Do you think me wearing Ron Paul T-shirt to the AIDS walk in NYC a few weeks ago helped?

I was also more ahead of many people as I walked forward. On the back saying Ron Paul for President 2008. I didn't do it on purpose though but realized much later it would help. Since all people were looking forward and me having Ron Paul 2008 on the back and me constantly walking forward had a lot of people seeing me. Do you think it helped?

  1. Yes, but probably not enough.
  2. Sure. Keep hope alive... It probably didn't hurt!
  3. Sure, he has voted against banning gay marriage before. Ron Paul on gay marriage: " (Gay) Marriage is first and foremost a religious matter, not a government matter. Government is not moral and cannot make us moral. Law should reflect moral standards, of course, but morality comes from religion, from philosophy, from societal standards, from families, and from responsible individuals. We make a mistake when we look to government for moral leadership."
  4. I doubt it...anyone who votes for him just takes away from the viable candidate (McCain) and gives the vote to Hillary or Obama.
  5. Ron Paul stands about as much of a chance as Ralph Nader, sadly. Nader would be my first choice over any of the candidates
  6. Helped what/who? Maybe a few people googled Ron Paul when they got home...but there is nothing that can help him in the election, short of all other candidates suddenly croaking. There was one news story during a primary that actually figured out there were more Ron Paul campaign signs out in the area, than votes he got. Sorry.
  7. A Big YES it helped! That's what these elections are all about, getting attention for the candidate you support. I proudly wear my custom made Ron Paul T-shirt whenever I go shopping, or out in public & I get lots of questions and offers to buy Ron Paul T-shirts. My wife and I went to a funeral on Memorial day and I really wanted to wear my Ron Paul T-shirt, which has a white background, but my wife talked me out of it saying it was inappropriate for a funeral. Go Ron Paul!!!!! ********************************************************
  8. Yes. In a speech Ron Paul just finished to 2500 people in Missouri, he said we each have an individual duty to work to spread liberty. And if anyone googled him out of curiousity, you've exposed them to the message. This isn't just a campaign. Well done. -- LOL! Oh, beesting, I am imagining you at a funeral in a Ron Paul shirt. The doctor wouldn't do it, but depending on what kind of a person died, the family might not have minded.
  9. Admittedly I was one of the ones who thought he was an old nutcase up until a month ago or so. I fully support him. He's the only candidate that is talking SPECIFICALLY about issues and solutions. Even if people disagree with his ideas, at least he's putting them out there instead of fake crying, setting up gay sex scandals, and giving other candidates the "cold shoulder". He's the most honest, even if he is "radical". Which he isn't unless you consider the constitution the forefathers came up with and signed radical. Anyway, your walk probably helped, but I don't expect him to win. The media's brainwash of the public is too deeply engrained. I do think this campaign will set the stage for things to come though.
