Are you "willing" to give Senator Barack Obama a chance to make some positive changes in Washington?
He said that he would bring an end to a very unpopular war and bring our troops home. He said that he would improve healthcare in our nation. He said that young people would receive up to $4,000.00 in college tuition. All they would have to do in return is provide service to their community. He said that he would reach across the aisle and bring Republicans and Democrats together. Are these issues important to you?

- I rather give the chance to McCain which he earned already. Obama is a rookie. ANYONE can "PROMISE" change!!! Please, don't get brainwashed. ohhh wait, he also said that we'll all win the lotto......
- I'd rather dip my nuts in a deep frier
- He said so many things, but HOW IS HE GOING TO DO THIS?
- I wouldn't give him a snowball's chance in hell.
- he says he says he says.. yet if u look at his record he hasnt done anything.. he has no experience and electing him would be the biggest mistake we could ever make
- Sure....if our country survived Bush, I am willing to give anyone a chance...I don't know if he can accomplish all he sets out to do, but nothing is accomplished by electing a goof ball like McCain into office
- I cant believe people are falling again for empty speeches and not substance, no wonder the rest of the world think american politics are a joke after bush and now obama oh my god you like a good story teller
- He said he would bring transparency to government...as witnessed by the Obama- Lugar act..
- Not at this particular time... Maybe in 8 or maybe even 4 yrs from now...
- NO. I think Hillary Clinton has the know how and the determination to be a better President. She has dedicated her life to making things better for others. Hillary is my choice and I will stand by her through it all.
- I don't see the first 3 as being positive at all. And the last one, I don't believe. Bush tried that when he came to Washington and the Dems bit his hand off. I doubt Obama's sincerity on this, because such an action has NOT been shown by any Democrat Congresscritter in many, many years. Ending the war is the wrong thing to do. And increasing "entitlements" from the federal government is contrary to the very principles that underlie the Constitution. He'd be bad for the future of this country.
- I might if we could let him have the office for just a month. But giving someone the highest office in America for FOUR YEARS is a bit more than giving him a chance!
- No. He is unacceptable. He belongs to a racial separatist organization fronting as a church. In our society, that is unacceptable. If you need money for an education, get off your duff and earn it. That's what I did. Same for health care. Pay for your own. Stop being a societal parasite. As for reaching across the aisle, he'll only do that if the other side agrees to his terms. That is not reaching out, that is dictating. Such promises are childish nonsense.
- yes
- Those are a lot of promises to keep in such a short time. Nothing he says could be accomplished within one term of service as President. I think we should pull more troops than we have been. Many of my friends are soldiers who have already served in Iraq. But they say that pulling all the troops instantly would leave Iraq too vulnerable, and it would be a massive mess. Besides, that would never pass in Congress or House of Reps, so that is a promise he knows he can't keep. I am against the democrats' national healthcare crap. It would so totally f**k our hospitals. How would they care for every tom dick and sally who could come to the hospital for every runny nose for free? I would love to see students receive help for college tuition. Of course that issue is important to me. BAH!! How does he expect to bring republicans and democrats together if the Democrats can't stop this massive war within their own ranks? That's a load of crap!!
- Heck NO! He is a racist. And do Not say he is half white he has shunned that part of himself. He is all talk and those are stolen words from Patrick Deval. http://www.tucc.org/about.htm -his church website.
- Sure, they are important. But many, many things are said when an election is coming up. It's more of a matter of do I believe he is telling the truth, and do I believe he can actually make these changes. The president has a large say in what goes on, but it is never totally his decision. No matter what changes they want to make they have to have the support of the rest of the government to actually get them done. I personally would rather see John McCain in office.
- Hussein had his chance to speak out as a senator. The pinhead is long on form , but void of substance.
