What are you views on presidential election coming up next year?

Choose at least one issue that is important to you. It can be anything from healthcare to education to the war in Iraq. Explain what you think the problem is. Then, choose one of the presidential candidates that you like and explain how you think that person will deal with the issue. The most notable Democratic candidates are Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama, and the most notable Republican candidates are Rudy Giuliani and John McCain, but you can choose any of the potential candidates.

Public Comments

  1. Let's elect hillary clinton and let another clinton make a joke out of the whitehouse.
  2. i would not mind Hilary but that also will never probably happen
  3. The economy/taxes. Obama has shown in his past votes that he will raise taxes. Plain and simple, just look at the record. Hilliary would ruin our economy, just look at what she said about ExxonMobile. That leaves us to the Republican choices. McCain would do good, and so would Guiliani. However, Mitt Romney would keep this economy rolling and lower taxes. Romney has my vote.
  4. health insurance, vote for hillary.
  5. A war happening anywhere is in my mind since 2001 and John McCain is the only one who has a qualified military background by my standards.
  6. Issue - foreign relations, Iraq war, etc. - even though I personally tend to focus on moral domestic issues, I feel that this issue is clearly one that will have a huge impact on the election. Hillary Clinton - she has already shown that she is indecisive and unreliable to lead over nation. Putting our trust in her to deal with situations, such as the war in the Iraq, is personally a downright scary thought. John McCain - he has been there and he has down that - as a moderate conservative, McCain has always been active in resolving foreign conflicts, and will stick to his values, whether it be republican-like or not - he does what is best for the nation and does so with years of experience. He is the best candidate to trust in protecting and securing the nation, sometime crucial during for the years to come...
