If your candidate withdrew, who do you support now?

I'm curious - a few months ago, I would read many passionate appeals here for Fred Thompson, Rudy Giuliani, John Edwards, Joe Biden, etc. For those of you whose candidate is no longer in the race, or maybe still is, but has become a real longshot - who do you support now? Is it just based on party? How did you decide?

  1. my candiate is obama and if he withdrew ( which i think would be horrible if he did) i would support clinton dude i hope that doesnt happen
  2. lol -- ha ha ha some how i got the benfit from this fools going at each other
  3. If Hillary does not get the democratic nomination, I will vote for McCain because I think Obama is the worst decision for our country.
  4. the candidate i like has no chance: wayne allen root (libertarian), i dont even think he'll be on the ballot in my state...maybe ill write him in, if not id probably vote for mccain considering he would cause the least damage among the big 3 i like'd rudy as well but he played his cards wrong
  5. I supported Giuliani. Next on my list was McCain. Giuliani supports McCain, as well.
  6. I liked Edwards or Biden. Of the remaining candidates, I prefer Obama.
  7. My candidate is still in it although there is no way that he is going to win. I will still vote for him no matter what. If he is no longer on the ballot, I will write his name in. I don't vote by party, I vote for who ever I believe in.
  8. If hillary drops out, Im going Republican....but if hillary stays...i'll vote for her...
  9. I support the person with the closest values and that is usually within the same party
  10. If Hillary don't get it ..........NO VOTE FOR ME !!!!!
  11. If Obama withdrew, I would vote for an independent.
  12. I first wanted Al Gore to run but then was supporting Biden, then supported Edwards and now its Obama... so i guess it looks like im all about democrats but I really like Ron Paul and I thought Huckabee was kinda 'aww shucks' cool.. I really am looking for a canidate that going to unite the country and do away with the party politics that has divided the people for about 15 years ... it's time we stand in for solutions that impact all of us rather focus on issues which divide us ...
  13. No one.
  14. I have been a Barrack Obama supporter from the beginning. In the unlikely event that he were to withdraw, I would support Hillary Clinton.
  15. IF Hillary looses...me as well as hundreds of thousands of other voters will switch parties!
  16. ME
  17. If Hillary loses the nomination I'm voting for McCain.
  18. I'm for myself and not leaving the race. I will win and turn this country into a better place and shut Al Gore up from lying and press charges on him for lying to the world.
  19. I'm waiting to make my decision until the Democratic candidate has been chosen. Then I will look into the two candidates much more closely than I have so far. I will see who I agree with on more of the major issues and use that as the primary basis for my decision. I will not vote for someone just because of the party he belongs to.
