Are the Mormon soldiers out tonight promotting their guy, Mitt Romney?

I see questions about Romney and McCain and though the answers seems to go somewhat both ways, the thumbs down for the pro McCain answers are vastly dispproportionate to the number of answers.

  1. LOL, I got the same impression many times. I will never vote for Romney, though I am an agnostic I see Mormonism as a big crazy cult. I read the Book of Mormons and I can't see how anybody with any common sense whatsoever can believe in that Mambo Jumbo and anybody who does is not fit to be president in my opinion..
  2. Mitt Romney is being supported by Mormons - all out.
  3. I am not Mormon and he's has my vote... GO ROMNEY!!!!
  4. I am not a Mormon or a soldier and I'm voting for Romney
  5. When I travel I enjoy meeting many people, but these guys whose sole purpose is to recruit people I avoid like the plague. I have friends of every religion including this one. However, many of the people that started this religion said it was a bunch of lies on their death bed. Also, interesting how many Mormon business people charge an extra 10% for their customers to pay the church. Instead of money going to build a big church, why not feed the hungry and adopt the 100 million REAL orphaned children that would love a parent? Just ignore Money Romney and say yes to needy children. After independently traveling I'm now a democrat.
  6. Soldiers? I was unaware the LDS had a Militia.
  7. Yes Sir! Hup two three four. You know how to vote. Now get out there and do it right. Governor Romney, he's our man, if he can't do it nobody can, Sound Off, Down with the Left, Sound Off Romney's Right, 1, 2, 3, 4, Hup 2, 3, 4.
  8. no- but i do look at questions and vote without answering- some questions i don't answer because someone already gave the answer i would have given. however i feel so strongly against mc cain- that i do have a tendancy to thumbs down- where i wouldn't, it be a answer for another candidate. but my discontent with mc cain is well founded. He has flip flopped more than any of them- and worse, he has done it DURING the campaign!! Not to mention the outright lies he has been caught saying, and ridiculed for in the media-but continues to say them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ioy90nF2anI economy- does not have a clue!!! has even admitted it himself! says he would have to rely on other people to tell him what to do with the economy- what? the same people that drove into a hole to begin with!!!??? is he serious?! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XazpaYwFK... illegal immigration- has been for amnesty the entire 21 years he has been senator of arizona. an estimated 5,000 illegals cross through arizona EACH DAY!! 1.6 million a year! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cLzWDmxUe... war- his leg that he stands on, and yet even that has been criticized by those who are serving in iraq right now!! some of the lines he has been feeding potential voters have drawn laughs from troops, and deep concern from those in iraq, wondering if he is really that dilusional- or just very out of touch! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06hR2EGpl... taxes/conservative values- mc cain's record reads more like a democrats, and democrats have even said they welcome working with mc cain, because his views are not that different from their own!! he has done more to hurt the repub. party than help, including voting against tax cuts! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bf7e7R3gS...
  9. I'm voting Romney I have no love for McCain and I feel our economy is best in the hands of Mitt.
  10. There are obviously a lot of people (the majority) of his supporters who aren't Mormon. Why does it matter anyway? There are other politicians such as Harry Reid (Senate majority leader) who are Mormon and most Mormons wouldn't support him...because he's a Democrat and most Mormons are Republican. I think a lot of Mormons support Romney not because he's Mormon, but because he's a very good candidate who's stance on the issues is what a lot of Mormon's like, and they are familiar with his Christian values and not scared off by his religion, he just happens to be Mormon. If he was a doofus candidate, he wouldn't get a lot of support by Mormons just because he's Mormon. I personally think it would be pretty stupid to vote for someone just because they happen to have the same religion as you and for no other reason.
  11. I don't know. Why don't you go ask Harry Reid and Bill Bradley who they're supporting tonight?
  12. I'm an Irish Catholic from Boston, Usn-Uscg veteran and I'm voting for Romney.
  13. Many people are upset with McCain for the dirty tricks he pulled before the Florida primary, as well as not liking his credentials. Despite what individual Latter-day Saints may do the church is officially politically neutral. Period.
