Does Mitt Romney being a Mormon cause you any problems?
I'm a Christian and I'm not sure if I can vote for him because of his religion. Any advice? I mean does he wear holy underwear? weird! Don't freak people! I was just messing around with the underwear question. I was serious about my first part of the question.

- yes ,, ,http://www.hillaryclinton.com/
- I'm Christan and I'd vote for him. I'd vote for Huckabee first, but Mormon are usually good people that do what they think is right and helpful. Romney won't "flip-flop" like McCain is saying.
- yea...if your voting based on religion, you shouldn't be voting...
- Since America is supposed to be a nation that separates church and state, I think that candidates should not even say their religion. There are enough other reasons not to vote for Romney anyway.
- Obama will cause me more problems being a Muslim (once a Muslim always a Muslim)
- Be interesting to have multiple first ladies if he does get elected. Though I have studied the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and I really have to wonder how anyone could believe Joseph Smith, Jr. So it's probably not the best religion for someone to be in, if they want my vote.
- Nope, I'll be voting for Mitt Romney on tuesday.
- I am a Christian and am voting for Mitt Romney because he has the strongest stands against illegal immigration. His religion does not make a difference to me.
- I am Catholic and I have no problem with Romney being Mormon. I think he is the right man for the job. I like his stance on illegal immigration, the nations finances, family values, etc.
- It doesn't bother me at all other than the fact that Mormons are basically anti gay. But he has to work with Congress, so neither he nor any President will be able to do anything too weird to this country. And other than nicely going door to door when they are in college years, they don't tend to push their religion on other people. And their main focus is on Jesus, just like Baptists, Catholics, and Lutherans. Of all people, as a gay person, I should be against him. But your thinking or your lack of thinking by allowing some irrational fear overtaking your brain, makes you think that he is less of a leader due to the religion/denomination that he was brought up in. It's just insane. That person who said that if you are voting due to religion, then you shouldn't vote. I vote for who I think will be best for America as a whole, and for what is most important right now for us. Gay rights for me and mine will just have to take a back seat right now in order to elect someone who is best to fix our economic problems, run this war Bush got us into, figure out best how our people can all get health care, and get us out of dependency for energy sources from other countries.
- Nope... no problem with me. And I don't think anyone should care about another person's underwear. Whether they wear it, don't wear it, or wear flowers and pokkadots. This is the stupidest question yet.
- did it cause any problems when they voted for kennedy the first rc
- no! but ill bet you wear obamas face with his tongue sticking out silkscreened on the back of your underwear
- His religion does not bother me, but his political affiliation does.
- The fact that he is a republican causes me problems. Don't vote based on religion, that is stupid...and don't vote because you think someone who is not a Muslim is one. Mitt Romney is not the man for the job...don't vote for him based on that....he is a hypocrite.....he gets elected saying he is prochoice and then changes his tune when he realizes he won't get the conservative vote that way. Of course, I'm a Christian and I don't vote based on abortion either!
- I am a christian that would vote for him. some christian candidates do not follow the christian way of life. Romney is opposed to gay marriage and abortion on demand. Yet many christians have changed the bible to their liking. I am not mormon but i respect their beliefs in many ways. Note I did not say all ways. Because they have tried to rewrite the bible
- The mormon faith is very closely tied to (or is a creation of) the Illuminati/freemasons. It takes in about 5 billion $$ annually and has a net worth of 25-30 billion. It is one of the most transparent of faiths when it comes to its origin myth. If you forget about the bigotry, sexism, and racism inherent in the faith, I still wouldn't trust a devout mormon to uphold the constitution and appoint supreme court justices.
- 1) No. And 2) Chaos, you say, "no! but ill bet you wear obamas face with his tongue sticking out silkscreened on the back of your underwear". Is this something you think about often? I mean it's such an unusual question that one can only imagine this is something you've thought about yourself. What does this say about you and your fantasies?
- Though I appreciate your honesty, that makes you a religious bigot. it does. Advice: get over it. Romney is running for president not as head christian chaplain for the country. He's a financial genius and can fix our economy. He has a strong moral background, he is indeed Christian, he's pro-life, pro-family and against gay marriage. He's the only true conservative in the race. His faith is private and personal, just as yours is - you should get over it. Romney is the right choice.
- Nah. Just listening to him speak gives me any number of other reasons to dislike him and not vote for him.
- Do you wear yours? You say you're Christain, why would you berate another Christian? "Weird!"
- The constitution says that there should be no test of religion. Romney has not made an issue of religion but rather has focused on issues and policies. I find Huckabee's actions seriously disturbing. He is using Jesus Christ's name to gather votes to further his political career. That, in my opinion is wrong and very un-christian. I will vote for Romney.
- Yes, as a matter of fact, it does. Every time someone says they won't vote for him because he's a member of a "cult", I feel like banging my head against the wall. Ideally, of course, I'd be able to bang their heads against the wall, but either way it's a problem for me.
