John mccain wants a draft..... 100 years of war=draft?

that means your son and daughter.. more dead soldiers...100 years of war means a draft. you cant have a 100 year war without a draft

7. Not to put too fine a point on the topic but the only Member of Congress who wants a draft is Congressman Charles Rangle of New York. And he's a Democrat. All branches of the armed forces have consistently met or exceeded their quotas for recruiting and retention every year since September 11, 2001. So, there is no need for the draft. The only thing I'm sorry about is the absolute lack of concern expressed by any of the anti-war crowd about the loss of lives in the armed forces before September 10, 2001.

The only reason each branch of the armed services meets their quota each year is because they reduce the number of new recruits they "need" and increase the number of waivers for medical, psychological, and criminal factors that would otherwise disqualify someone. But a draft? Nobody wants a draft. Vietnam draft boards saw how practical it was.
