What must Senator Obama do to defeat Senator John McCain in November?

Public Comments

  1. Turn into someone else.
  2. Continue what he's doing now... inspiring people.
  3. Get his name on the ballot.
  4. If he gets the nomination first
  5. Like he's done everybody else, male and female, he'll charm him right out of his skivvies.
  6. Don't think he can at least not this go around. Democrats giving away the White House yet again by nominating another can't win candidate.
  7. Get 270 electoral votes.
  8. You mean Hillary don't you? :)
  9. Well, he has to do A LOT, considering he isn't even the democratic nominee, and won't be. Assuming he is the nominee, he won't have to DO anything, he can just sit back and let more of his past catch up to him. Like the cocaine use, etc.
  10. Remain alive.
  11. Nothing ,They are two pea in a pod {political that is}
  12. for one he'll have to explain how he'll parse the words hope, and change without stammering, we'll finally be told the meanings in crisp clean understandable adjectives!
  13. Find some substance. Hollow promises don't last long.
  14. Basically, just keep breathing.
  15. It'll be tough. His appeal is that he's charismatic and inspiration in his speeches, and he's fresh and new. By November, he might not seem so fresh and new, and he'll keep having to come up with creative things to say in order to continue to inspire. He'll need to keep people interested, for several months. That's hard to do. People get bored.
  16. not get the nomination
  17. He must remind people why they are opposed to the war in Iraq. He must remind people why Bush has a miserable approval rating. He must present himself as a strong leader with a determined purpose and the ability to turn the economy around. He must present solid plans and have the support of credible leaders from many different facets of government. He must make a great selection for VP. Someone who will help him in uniting the people behind him. He certainly doesn't need Hillary. He must put her behind him and find a VP with unquestionable loyalty and with a background that makes him/her a solid candidate for president as well.
