6. Can you like, give an example? If you are talking about the public funding thing, I don't get why politicians are chastised for changing their minds. People change their minds; it happens. It's not really a moral issue. If you want to talk about McCain changing his mind (something he has done on MANY issues) on the unfair Bush tax-cuts... now THAT might be a moral issue; one worth talking about. McCain originally opposed the Bush tax cuts on moral grounds. Now he's for them.
7. Changing one's mind is OK as long as the needs of the country are put first ... changing one's mind for political expediency is what's wrong. Even the "liberal bible" (The New York Times) has criticized Obama for this recent flip-flop.
