Why is there a racial issue in the election for President?

I see many Liberals and Democrats calling Republicans and Conservatives racist, but not many Conservatives, and Republicans calling Liberals racist for their utter dislike of Condoleeza Rice, there fore I am concluding that the issue of racism in this election is moot, and merely a tactic used by the Liberals to win an election, and will lie to do it. Am I wrong? Will you give me your understanding of it?

  1. Because Obama made it one.
  2. I didnt know that there was one in fact I was sure for the last pole the rock was kick that cracks ass I love and I am crack my self and I hate illegal so go figger
  3. She isn't the one running for office Obama is. If she was running they would more than likely be spouting their hate. But the man is as much white as he is black whether he wants to admit it or not. He is always talking about black issues this black issues that. I think he is the racist.
  4. Racism is the reason given in the absence of a valid counter argument. When everyone talks about Obama's lack of accomplishments, they can't counter with an actual list of stuff he's done. Since they can't prove otherwise, they turn it into a racial issue. In the past it semi worked because no one wanted to get into that argument. Since they beat that horse to death, it's like crying wolf. It doesn't hold water anymore & it just makes them look immature & silly.
  5. because liberals have weak minds, so they resort to name calling like children.
  6. Some people (some not all) fell that Obama is perfect and the only reason people do not support him is because of racism, and no sadly I am not joking. I didn't see any people saying liberal are racist because they do not like Rice, but calling all Liberals or Conservative racist is dumb.
  7. I'm going to offend alot of people in the following statement. You've been warned. These cheesy pinheads we call the "Democratic Party" has a huge advantage, no matter who was the nominee, Hillary or Obama. If it were Hillary, they could use those radical feminists to cry foul for no reason and ride sexism to the White House. Same for Barack Hussein Obama, only replace feminists with the NAACP and sexism be replaced with racism.
  8. Obama is the one who brought the racial crap into this election, with his church and everone digging up the real stuff on him. He is bad news thats all I have to say about him. Condoleeza has not stirred up the pot, and she is classy lady. I would vote for her.
  9. You are right! In my southern state we have had a black Republican leader lead the party for many years! he has always been a professional! http://www.blackrepublicans.com
  10. I agree, and if I have to hear Barry say one more time "I'm black" I will scream! check out this passage from Barry's book: And he does at every opportunity.
  11. Shouldn't be one ... that simple ... but you have to overcome "little minds" ...
  12. White people were too scared to stand up to affirmative blacktion when it started. Now it has reached it's ultimate conclusion.
  13. It is a disgusting tactic. The Dems will claim that if you don't like Obama, you must be racist and try to either A) shame others into voting for him B) make an excuse in case they lose My reasons for not supporting Obama have nothing to do with his race but rather his policies and more recently, his character. I would gladly support an African-American if I believed in his/her policies.
  14. Because not until this year african-americans didn't vote, and NOW they are voting ONLY because he is black.
  15. Who says there is? Anytime there is critique of a black person it's considered racism. That's not it. He's just not a strong candidate: lightweight, little experience, arrogant, opportunistic--and yes, black. Well, half-black. His race is not the issue, my friend.
  16. Great question! I agree with you totally. It's Obama himself that has brought racism to this election. His supporters are now using it because they have nothing else to offer. God Bless America and Her People! God Bless Our Brave Troops! Consider Your Children and Grand-Children; Their Future Is In Our Voting Hands! "The invisible Money Power is working to control and enslave mankind. It financed Communism, Fascism, Marxism, and Socialism. All of these are directed to making the United States a member of World Government." -Unknown
  17. Interesting points. I think it is so racially charged mainly because Rev Wright began it, the likes of Rev Sharpton and Jesse Jackson perpetuated it. . . .using Obama to further a racial agenda. . . and now even Obama has resorted to using it - poking fun at his detractors by implying they are racist - really low and shows no class at all. He could just as easily simply answer to the inconsistencies and defend his politics. . . but he doesn't . . . . he just starts making it about race. I think Obama himself has created an atmosphere in America now where Liberals feel justified with calling people racist when they don't like Obama. .. and they think there is nothing wrong about that. Truly Obama has been the Great Divider. EDIT: September the 10th below: I have never heard one Republican say they wouldn't vote for Obama because he is black. Not one. However, I have heard many Obama supporters confess they will vote for him because he is black. Which is more immoral?
  18. Because the republicans made it that way. They were the ones saying they wouldnt vote for him because he is black.
  19. Nope you're not wrong...you hit the nail on the head. Liberals love playing the "race card" when it's to their advantage...but when the shoe is on the other foot, then it becomes racism. The truth is racism won him the nomination. All through out our history when you objectively compare the plight of black men to women (white and black), women always get the shaft. Black men were given voting rights first, and that's just one example. Don't get me wrong I would never support Hitlerbeast (I mean Senator Cliton), but racism won him the nomination. In many liberal "progressive" minds, history owes the black community a president, or a black man deserves to be president. Why? Just because. Just because of what? Because of slavery????? How many people alive today (in the U.S.) were born into slavery. That ended over a century ago. How long do we have to continue to pay for it? Or they'll bully you into voting for him by saying "you're racist" if you don't. Well doesn't that also make you racist if you do? Really if skin color (black or white) is your only criteria for a president, then you are a racist. I won't vote for him simply because I don't agree with his socialist policies and in my opinion he is completely lacking in experience and he never served in the military (probably the only quality that I do admire in McCain).
  20. It's easier for his disciples to blame racism than face the fact that he isn't perfect. I don't think most consider it a lie, they actually believe it. Which is pretty scary and doesn't bode well for America. Sept. 10 Mindset: It's true that a small portion of the population will vote against Obama because he's black, but you're kidding yourself if you think those people are only republicans. Racism and ignorance exist on both sides of the aisle. The vast majority of those not voting for him are doing so because they disagree with his politics. Just like many voted against Kerry and Gore. And that small contingent of voters who are voting against him because he's black is more than offset by those voting for him for the same reason. And for many of them, the only reason.
  21. You're wrong and you must live under a rock.
  22. Because Obama made it an issue. And his wife seconded the motion.
  23. What's offensive about the generalizations is that most democrats voted for Hillary not Obama. Perhaps you should refer to it as the Obama portion of the democratic party.
  24. It wasn't racist until Obama stated playing basketball for the cameras.
  25. The unfortunate honest reason is because it is in the nature of all races too see their own race as superior. There are individuals who think above this; But they're rare - Far more common are those who like to believe they are high-minded but are so dripping with contempt for the other race that it is clear they are racist whether they want to admit it or not. They can cite justification; But hate still shines through legitimate excuses. And you're out of touch if you think racism is limited to liberals; It's all too common with both parties, And frankly, from what I have seen, even more common in conservatives... BTW - If Condeleeza Rice wished to have more approval among the mainstream public; She should have constructed a foreign policy that would not have left America as isolated and overextended in the world as it's become.
  26. it just happened this way this time since race has to be an issue when you have two people from different races running against each other, other then that this election is to pick the one out of 2 evils
  27. African Americans tend to forgive and forget the hate and crime that was perpetrated against us while the descendants of the criminals that did these things want to prolong our pain. People who are hateful, cannot believe that there are people who do not hate, thus, they call others racist when it is them.. So, I see these racially challenged individuals in a dilemma that they can't get out of; encumbered, so to speak.; stuck back in time, with the need to .carry on the legacy of the John McCain era until death comes a knocking.. This was an era of hatred, kidnapping, rape, robbery, racism, murder and lynching. This is what they know and to elect Barack Obama for them would be the end of their era of hate and they just don't want that hope, they want to stay stuck in the past. It is a pity, the Christ in them is overshadowed by the hate. The funny thing to us is, they are the ones who did the crimes and they have the NERVE to hate and fear us. Its really comical and silly to us. And some even think we should all be doctors and lawyers and be well together after 400 years of abuse, denied education, denied opportunities, denied equal access to the economy in a country we built and only 10 or 20 years of getting a chance halfway decent. My vote is not based on race, but on the facts and respect. I simply cannot vote for John McCain because of what he did to Carol McCain and their three children. And she is a White woman. As a woman, my love and respect for her as a woman, and a mother means I cannot forget what this man did to this woman. It was Cold, cruel, and mean, and for that reason he does not deserve to be the president of the United States of America. This is not a racial issue for me , its a woman issue, a sister issue, a mother issue.
