Is Ron Paul running for president asa libertarian?
Public Comments
- No, he and Bub Starr are selling shoes for Goodwill Industries.
- No. Bob Barr is the libertarian candidate Ron Paul ended his campaign not too long ago
- no he suspended his campaign about 2 months ago, and come the republican election he will be holding his own meeting just down the street and we will just have to see what comes from that
- No, he's not. He probably should have quit the GOP and headed a libertarian party from back in 2003, though. If well-organised, that would have put him in a pretty good position coming into this election. But no, America decries the two-party system while simultaneously ignoring those who might make a difference outside of that system.
- No. He won't do that. He has repeatedly said he won't run as a 3rd party candidate. Just let him develop the movement. If you are in a traditionally blue state, and feel like your vote doesn't matter, write him in on the ballot just to send a message.
- No, but he was running as a Republican. Ron Paul did have heavy libertarian leanings, and that I truly admired. The Libertarian candidate is Bob Barr, who was also a staunch supporter of Ron Paul, and another supporter like Chuck Baldwin, who is the Constitution Party nominee. Though, since Ron Paul did suspend his race last month, there is no hesitation that YOU can still vote him in, or elect him as a nominee in the GOP convention. Good question.
