1. I think more socially to the left than Bush. However, you wouldn't see a lot of changes. Abortion would still be legal. I don't think you'd see a lot of change, one way or the other, on different issues with gays (military service, marriage, etc). Fiscally, I see them both being pro - tax cuts, so I don't see a major change in tax policy. If there is a difference, I think it would come in terms of enforcement of laws. One of Guilliani's claims to fame was to get the squeggie guys who cleaned windshields off the streets of New York. Assuming he applied the same philosophy for the nation, you might see more enforcement on things like border security, etc.

3. same as all the rest - a corrupt, power hungry, self-righteous bible-basher, devoted to increasing the wealth of the rich, keeping the poor down and furthering his own self-promoting agenda.

9. Socially Liberal and Fiscally irresponsible, which is why he is the darling of the Corporate Right. Quite possibly even more corrupt than Bush, but more discreet about it. Better able to handle criticism. After all the Mayor is traditionally, "The Most Hated Man in New York." I wouldn't call him strong on Defense, Elaine. Committing the Military to a war of attrition, while chiseling on equipment, Medical care and Veterans Services isn't really Pro-defense.
