Is the media preparing us for a Rudy Giuliani vs Hillary Clinton presidency?

Rudy Giuliani doesn't have any real support, just people who say that they would reluctantly vote for him to keep Hillary from winning. So how is Giuliani the "frontrunner"? again? Which straw poll did he win? I have a lot of trouble believing that he is the conservatives' choice for the GOP nomination. the lesser of two evils gives you evil. I don't vote for the lesser of two evils. koalat - I am not a democrat and I hate Hillary.

  1. Believe it. Hillary's unelectable, she's got way too much baggage.
  2. My guess is that it is going to be a Gulliani - Clinton race. Clinton will win, though. Conservatives won't vote for Gulliani because he's pro-abortion and pro-gay marriage. Besides, we still operate on the Electoral Collage, and Clinton won that a long time ago. Yes!!!
  3. Yep, looks like anther election of the lessor of two evils. Hillary says that this country can't support Bush's tax cuts yet each time she opens her mouth another promise for a government handout comes flying out. Do any of you socialist liberals see the hypocrisy in that? I'm sure you don't, just had to ask! LOL!!
  4. They have chosen those 2 since the beginning. I think that you must look at who owns what, including media companies AND stocks in order to get the real answer.
  5. Yes, afraid so, but Rudy can beat her. On the Democrat side there are no real choices presented. On the RNC side, GOP voters have some tough choices. But Billary is beatable because she has such high negatives (near 50%), while Rudy's are only in the twenties.
  6. Hillary may already have more power than Bush in Washington ... I doubt even voters can stop her Guiliani is, I think, a joke I'll be hoping a viable 3rd party enters the race
  7. That Guiliani is a real class act: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2002/06/21/politics/main512992.shtml
  8. The media often seems to try to sway the opinions of people by repeating the same story over and over again. They will keep saying he is the front runner for the next couple of months until people start repeating this. Most people want to vote for the winner. The media influences the results by "declaring" a candidate as the "winner" or in this case the front runner.
  9. Looks that way. Hyping Rudy makes just about any Democrat a shoo-in. Of course Rudy could run as a democrat if he loses the GOP nomination. Or Hillary could run as a Republican, I just know they'd love to have her.
  10. rudy has plenty of support. you need to stop reading the pelosi press releases and look at fact. he is the front running republican candidate. and youve already been prepped for the reality of a hillary clinton presidency from the last tenure in the white house of the clintons. the problem is some people simply dont learn from history. - The only president ever impeached on grounds of personal malfeasance - Most number of convictions and guilty pleas by friends and associates* - Most number of cabinet officials to come under criminal investigation - Most number of witnesses to flee country or refuse to testify - Most number of witnesses to die suddenly - First president sued for sexual harassment. - First president accused of rape. - First first lady to come under criminal investigation - Largest criminal plea agreement in an illegal campaign contribution case - First president to establish a legal defense fund. - First president to be held in contempt of court - Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions - Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions from abroad - First president disbarred from the US Supreme Court and a state court
