What impact will Bob Barr and and Ralph Nader have on the Presidential election?

If its close, these two guys - depending on their own success - could have a significant impact on the election. What do you think?

1. We will reach our Nader (nadir) when we Barr (bar) Obama from the White House and elect McCain.
2. They'll only hurt McCain if anything. I say let them campaign their hearts out.

4. Ralph Nader is done, most Dems aren't going over to him anymore and he doesn't even have a party. Green party candidate Cynthia "don't you know who I am" McKinney will get more votes then him If Bob Barr manages to tap into the Ron Paul revoultion crowd, he could have a fairly significant impact

6. What will happen with Nader's run now that McKinney just won the green party nomination? Is he running independent? CAN he at this date? The people who will vote for third parties do so out of conviction - generally conviction that the two major party candidates suck. That is what I will be doing, in any event. Since I would not vote for McCain or Obama, it doesn't impact their chances one way or the other.
7. In '92 a vote for Perot was a vote for Clinton. I learned my lesson! I should of voted for Bush Senior because Perot didn't stand a chance. I just got caught up in emotion and I should have thought it out rationally. So... In '08, a vote for Bob Barr or Ralph Nader is a vote for Obama.
