Is Joe Biden the only Democrat running for President whose not a cut and run liberal?
I have the awkard position of not likeing Bush but wanting the United States to continue in Iraq.

- Why are you adopting O'Reilly speak? By buying into the absurd language of the right-wing media, you are learning to think only in rhetoric. EDIT- I just looked at the answer that you gave to another question and I found you using that phrase at least 3 times in your short answer. "Cut and run." Your thought process and subsequent opinion is so simple that it can be described in a single ridiculous phrase that was created as rhetorical propaganda to smear people who disagree with a certain position?
- That damn Obama wants to redeploy from our cash cow and send the troops to Afghanistan/Pakistan to get Osama Bin Laden. Isn't that crazy!?!
- He actually has a solution for Iraq.
- There are only two liberals in the Democratic race: Mike Gravel and Dennis Kucinich. The other Democratic candidates are all right-of-center. That said, I don't know what a "cut and run liberal" is. Are you suggesting that we should keep throwing good money after bad, forever, until our treasury is exhausted and our military is broken?
- No. Smarter strategy does not equate to cutting and running. People should stop having something to prove and focus on the best strategy to combat Al-Q. Clearly, the war in Iraq isn't it.
- Yes, but he is pro illegal immigration, and that will keep me from voting for him.
- You don't like Bush? Really? Surprising for someone who apparently dismisses anyone not in favor of the war in Iraq as a "cut and run liberal"... I would have guessed that his sense of nuance and complexities would be very much on a par with your own. How come you're not in Iraq as we speak, incidentally?
- That is an awkward position. You don't like the guy who made the mistake, but like the mistake. Any good Democrat wants to get out of the Iraq mess.
- "Cut and Run" In my humble opinion, we have already achieved our goal (if we had one) in Iraq. SoDamn Insane’s government has been toppled and the people have held "free elections". We win! Time to come home... I know I know… the Iraqi People & Terrorists. I figure that the Iraqi people are helping the “terrorists” by hiding them. I’m thinkin’ if that’s whom they want “protecting” them, then who are we to argue?
- Apparently cut and run is term made up my Bill O'Reilly. I find it funny that these leftists can always quote O'Reilly and Limbaugh while I have been a conservative since I was in the young Republicans in highschool and I couldn't tell you what these radio pundits say or believe in. Sorry, as to your question. I think you have a couple of decent guys over there like Biden and Gravel that your party is pushing aside for the radical left. It is amazing to me, you guys have a unique opportunity at really a landslide victory based on a) the performance and perception of the current Republican administration and b) the sheer lack of appeal of any of the Republican candidates, and your party apparatus is trying to blow it again by promoting the most divisive, polarizing candidate you can find in Hillary. Its laughable how completely inept, even in the face of certain victory, the DNC can be. I gotta tell ya, if you guys throw a half way decent centrist type of guy up there I might be, even though I am a hard-core Conservative, inclined to throw my vote at 'em if it was against a Rudy Giuliani or John McCain. You guys really need to get you sh!t together and you could win this thing easily but Hillary will bring all kinds of voters out of the woodwork that you don't want any part of.
- I don't believe so. But I will say this; Don't believe what most of these candidates are saying. Even the ones who claim they're against the war, are more than likely pandering for votes. I have a feeling that no matter who gets into office, that we'll be in Iraq until the cows come home.
- I never ever thought we should go to Iraq, even after the Democratic Senators approved Bush's funding. But now that the troops are there and Iraq is more unstable, the US can't just leave. The Iraqi parliament needs to come to an agreement, the Bush administration has to step up and make some solid decisions on how to handle this situation (not going to happen). So we must wait til a Democrat like Joe Biden (the man with a plan) becomes President.
- We either divide Iraq into 3 parts or we will be there for 10 years or longer. Are you willing to tell our brave men and women in our military that they will be in Iraq every other year for the next 10 ten years or longer? We are already losing men with 6 to 8 year experience the cream of the crop because they do not want a 4th or 5th tour.Google what the War czar said , he said we should consider the draft, personally I think this would be fair
- "Cut and run?" Use of such a pejorative phrase attempts to paint the opposition negatively; is an excuse for not thinking critically, and shows an unwillingness to consider the facts. It reflects badly upon anyone who uses it. Here's what Lt. Gen. William E. Odom in "Foreign Policy" has to say about the issue in reasonable language: http://www.foreignpolicy.com/story/cms.php?story_id=3430 BTW, Biden's not about to stay in Iraq either.
- no, hillary is all for the war too. Probably obama as well. Too bad. Other than everything else you and I might agree on :) to quote one V.P. "Iraq would be a qagmire". Oh well, that's politics. :)
- Gordon, you should sign up for the army and go die for our freedom. Your ignorance will not be missed.
