How many times has Joe Biden run for President of the United States?

okay... I should have explained... once was too many. But, I only know of the '88 and 2008 race. If anyone knows of another or others, please let me know! Thanks for your help!

1. Too many to count. Way back before he had hair again.
2. Once in 1988 (that I know of, anyways).
3. Sen. Joe Biden has only ran for the head seat in the executive branch once before. This happened in 1988, he dropped out early in the race. (Michael Ducacus ended up as the D.N.C nominee.)
