What Experience Does Barack Obama Have To Be President Of The United States And The Commander & Chief?
Does anyone know what kind of experience Barack Obama has to be president and the commander & chief to help direct the country's direction along with the united states military? Do you think he could have gained maybe just a little bit of experience when he was in the senate for those two and half years? hmm =\

- None but Michelle could be the head of the NAACP
- Indeed, I was wondering the same thing.
- nada
- tell us what experience does one need to be the president
- None he could be the greeter in a funeral home
- Absolutely none. lol Sorry but its true, everyone is just wanting a change so they're going for the biggest change possible. Which is stupid naive & dumb. VOTE MCCAIN!! :]
- He is a "community organizer", meaning ---> he TALKS A LOT!!!! That is it. He does not come close to McCain and his experience.
- You got me. I can't think of any. Maybe Prom King.
- Well, he continually bi_ch slaps the GOP with one hand tied behind his back. That's good enough for me.
- He has real world experience. He paid off his student loan for college just recently. Plus he's helped towns that were economically destroyed when businesses closed down. So what if he's only been in the senate for 2.5 years?
- He's only in his 4th year in Congress. He has none.
- Havard Graduate with JD; Havard Law Review President; Community Grassroots Leader; Constitutional Scholar and Professor; State Senator; and US Senator. Qualification, disqualification and common practice Article Two of the Constitution sets the principal qualifications to be eligible for election as President. A Presidential candidate must: be a natural-born citizen of the United States; be at least thirty-five years old; have been a permanent resident in the United States for at least fourteen years. Additionally, the Constitution disqualifies some people from the Presidency. Under Article One of the United States Constitution, the Senate has the option, upon conviction, of disqualifying impeached individuals from holding other federal offices, including the Presidency.[4] Under the Twenty-Second Amendment, no one can be elected President more than twice. The Twenty-Second Amendment also specifies that anyone who serves more than two years as President or Acting President, of a term for which someone else was elected President, can only be elected President once. Under the Twelfth Amendment a person who is no longer eligible to be President may not be Vice President either. Foreign-born Americans at the time the Constitution was adopted were also eligible to become President, provided they met the age and residency requirements.
- experience grows thr various process thats how all past presidents were made.
- he speaks with god everyday he has fire walking parties and he can make his wife proud f
- None, he has never been President before so he can't have any experience for the job. Neither can McCain.
- name a pres who did have any...save for Bush Sr. none of the recent ones did you neo-cons love Rea-gon...what being an actor make you a great leader? oh yea, actors are all thats in the repub party
- not nearly enough to be President of this great country.
- At least historically, there is no such "experience". Beginning with Reagan, though, brainless, superficial, and hypocrisy seem to be the qualities that most appeal to American voters.
- Well, experience hasn't done much for us so far. And military experience has squat to do with it. The president chooses people to oversee it. Being a soldier, like McCain, doesn't mean anything either. He was just a soldier. He wasn't involved in any decision making. It's asinine.
- He took credit for a lot of accomplishments that he never personally did. He's not even a Senator, he's a junior Senator, who didn't even win fairly in his city - Chicago. Funny, we hear the same from the disenfranchised Democrats in this election.
- None, but he has Gen. Wesley Clark on his side. Wait what experience does Clark have? I know Obama will talk nice to the people that want to kill us. And all will be good.... LOL
- Out of these 3 years in the senate,he's only spent something like 240 days actually working(the rest were campaigning) The equivalent to him as President is a 5 year old child becoming CEO of a major corporation.
- Not much, the city of Chicago hasn't changed much since he has been in state legislature or as a US Senator. Of course he hasn't been a US Senator long & he has already broken his promise to the people of Illinois that he would finish his term as Senator before running for President. He is just flailing about like a fish out of water, not knowing what stance to take at any given time. I am afraid that all the Obama followers are going to be real disappointed if he gets elected & falls short of all that was promised to them...so sad. But paying off his student as the answerer above has said surely qualifies him for President don't you think?
- A better question yet, is "What experience does McShame have to be president of the United States and much less, Commander In Chief"? I found a site just for you where it clearly shows presidents of lesser experience than both Obama and McShame yet they turned out to be successful in terms of how they served: http://www.electoral-vote.com/evp2008/Info/experience.html Take a look at that. They are white presidents too... wow! That should excite you, right? They were part of the last 43 presidents of the U.S. and many did not have great experience as you mention, but went on to do good as it were. Now as far as McShame, he just doesn't qualify as he is a rich old geezer truly not representative of the typical American citizen. He is not honest and quite frankly forgets a lot. Someone much younger would be better suited for the job. Obama is a good man; he means well, but is not perfect either, but a far cry better than the ole corrupt doughboy regimes that have plagued America and caused us much hardship for decades. Here ya go: http://brasschecktv.com/page/325.html Take a look there also, and... Good luck! Thanks.
- This question again.... NONE, ok? Barry is just an idiot failed lawyer. He has never served the military in any capacity, and has no knowledge or understanding whatsoever of the military or war. His statements about Iraq and military policy, as well as on weapons development, blatantly scream a total incomprehension of the job of Commander-in-Chief. His idea for military advisor, or possible VP, Wesley Clarke, again shows total incomprehension of what it takes to lead the armies of the western alliances. Clarke was FIRED from NATO. The Senate is NOT the army. Clarke is the poster boy for inaction on Croatia and Bosnia, not doing his job in recommending strongly to Clinton to support allied armies in their peacekeeping efforts, or do the airstrikes necessary to stop "ethnic cleansing". Let's talk about another highly skilled career, comparable to the job of Commander-in- Chief. What if you had to have extensive, very complicated open-heart surgury? Would you want a failed lawyer, or a surgeon to perform the operation?
- None, that I can find...while he was in the Senate for 2 years he voted mainly, "present"... I assume this was because he wasn't sure how his voting one way or another would effect his prospects of getting the nomination...so in my view he did not do his job as Senator... I couldn't go to work, say I was "present", and expect to keep my job... My nephew is in the Military, he has had 2 tours in the Middle East...he and his "brothers" do NOT think Obama is qualified to be Commander in Chief, and they certainly DO want this "war" to end! I have a similar question to this out there now, and I am receiving 90% hateful answers from Obama supporters, they can't seem to answer a question as to WHY they support their Canidate... ...and I haven't seen any moving evidence from Obama himself as to his being experienced or qualified...that is why I am supporting McCain... Good question, though...
- you haven't figured this out yet? man, you've had months. i suppose you more prefer a man who made anti-american propaganda for north vietnamese communists. a man who has spent his time in the senate drunk. this contest will be over in a few months, but you'll have to live with yourself for the rest of your life.
- lets be honest, any fool that would vote for obomba is selling his vote... so no I won't, but if it was a bigger tax reduction... that might buy my vote, lol Serriously is this a real question? Why do you think some people would sell their vote, for change!!!?? Now I might see where if a cantidate said something like "Im gona give you free health care, and tax just the rich", (leaving me wondering if he steals a rich mans money when will he be after mine). Then try to buy my vote with this kind of logic now I might just sell my vote for someone who'd do this kind of change. Then again I just have one vote, but for enough money or govrernment kick backs or contracts, Id registure again and maybe even more than a couple of times, just to make sure my guy heard my plea. But where would we ever find someone with so much to change and follow through with it. I want all the rich peoples money. They dont deserve to keep what they make. Im just a poor ole farm boy from Oklahoma with no money no education and its all someone else's fault and I want someone to take charge and take care of me! And tell me when I can breath so I wont be putting out too much CO2, I dont want to be blamed for global warming. And obviously I want to learn another language like Spanish. And I want the government to handel all my house payments and relieve my credit card debt. But this is a lot of change Like I said where are we going to find someone who will take care of me like this??? And make the government payroll larger so I can have all these services I need and deserve? Im so tired of thinking for myself! Besides people always call me names and are unkind to me. And I want a woman to have the right to crush out the life in a baby no matter where she is in the pregnacy 9 month Cause it isnt a baby til it breaths. It could just be a mass of dead flesh. I say we just dont take a chanch. The kid will be taking some of my programs I want. Ive lived longer and paid in my fair share and this kid hasnt left the launch pad. I want what the government owes me... SOUND FEMILURE? IM DISADVANTAGED, I think for a living. And listen to the doo-gooders whine. AND consider this a mother had the right to say NO and keep her legs closed before she became pregnate what about her pressious right to choose then? Isn't it a little late once conceived? DOES anyone think the mother will regret taking out the baby? And feeling guilty later? Is addoption out of your vocabulary or just out of your mind? Can anyone tell them to sit down and shutup and think about free stuff? What makes it free? The law. The law is if you want to end a life and its not breathing yet its ok. And who is rich? Who is rich ?(who ever the law says is rich). Only a fool could condone this logic and most will.
