When McCain Openly Bashes Bush & Cheney On Various Issues, Why Do So Many Dems Fear A Liberal John McCain?

...Ain`t he purdy nuff ?

Public Comments

  1. Fear? What, just because I prefer another candidate, that means I'm afraid of McCain? Puh-lease.
  2. Openly bashes? I haven't seen that very often. I don't fear John McCain, I dislike his policies.
  3. McCain is not a liberal, he is a moderate. That is why he appeals to Independents and moderate Dems. His issue is with the Far right wing of the Republican Party.
  4. I certainly don't fear him. He just seems like a man that traded his principles to win an election. Ever since he hugged Bush and started being his lap-dog, I lost all respect for him, which is a shame. I would have voted for him in 2000.
  5. did you just walk out of a time machine from 2001? for those who haven't been keeping up with McCain over the past year... he's basically went back on almost every "bash" he's said and lined up in support of Bush's policies... he makes Kerry seem like a minor league flip-flopper... which seems suicidal to me... but who knows?
  6. McCain has a strong history of flip flopping. He'd make a great puppet!
  7. because McCain ain't black. simple as that. Dems like "drastic changes" and having a black president is one of them. I won't mention the other drastic changes they favor here.
  8. The straight talk express is long gone because McCain wants to be president. Bush's people (and a crap load of lobbysts) are working on his campaign. Like Bush, he is against the new GI bill that has bipartisan support in the Senate. He believes that we should stay in Iraq even though we're not winning and the troops are in terrible shape. (There are people in Washington who think that the draft should be reinstated.) McCain wants to further cut intrest rates for corporations and make Bush's tax cuts permanent. In what way that matters is McCain bashing Bush?
  9. Calling John McCain "Liberal" is like calling Boston "a Yankee town." It is the complete opposite.
  10. I think you hit a nerve. haha. Notice that those who say he "flip flops" offer no examples. I for one heard him 'bash' Bush policies just yesterday on the oil crisis, and have indeed heard him repeatly disagree with the Bush administration publicly on anything from interrogation of political detainees to campaign finance to global warming. I haven't heard him 'flip flop' on any of those issues. I believe Dems when they say they don't 'fear' him, because they don't seem to have the knowledge required to be afraid of anything. Not even electing a person with no experience to be president of their country.
  11. Liberals are not afraid of McCain. And he is NOT a liberal. He is no different from the rest of the right-wing trash. Take for example, his fake support of our troops. A lot of empty rhetoric--jsut like the rest of the fake "patriots" on the right. Yet he wants to strip our troops of the benefits they've earned--by risking their lives for this country--under the GI Bill. Like I said, typical neoconservative. Empty rhetoric and platitudes. Scratch the surface--and you have an un-American piece of white trash.
  12. McBush is a wolf in sheeps clothing, just like Dumbya said he would have a "humble" foreign policy and be a "uniter and not a devider". Dumbya said we are "addicted to oil" but has ALWAYS reinforced the status quo. You ALWAYS have to remember the WHICH organization is sponsoring them. And McBush is skunk butt ugly to me.
  13. Because the words liberal and straightforward do not go together. McCain confuses them.
