- He is for some sort of an amnesty for illegals. Thats why rush limbaugh and sean hannity aren't telling us what a great republican he is.
- He and Ted Kennedy (the ultra-liberal Senator from Massachusetts) co-sponsored an immigration reform bill the other year that would have secured the border but at the same time legalize millions of illegals existing within our borders. In my opinion, he is soft on illegal immigration, but so are Hillary and Obama.
- he is 100% for amnesty, so is hillbilly , and obama bin laden, so we are all screwed.....they try to make it sound nice with fancy catch phrases but amnesty is still amnesty, no politician has the guts to tackle this issue as it should be....
- The other three are right, but he has backpedaled to curry favor with conservative Republicans who want a border fence but he is careful to avoid supporting that controversial issue. In his own words, http://www.johnmccain.com/Informing/Issues/68db8157-d301-4e22-baf7-a70dd8416efa.htm
- Funny how we tend to ignore our history and its implications- and we all know that history repeats itself again, and again, and again. The very immigration problems that we have today with Mexico are essentially the result of "bad behavior" on the part of those great Americans who settled Texas and other areas bordering on Mexico way back when. Lots of you say, "well, that was then, this is now"- but that will come back to nip you in the booty someday and will probably end up hurting future generations.
- he likes his mexican gardner and poolcleaners.
- What does John McCain think....full-stop! He is too old, not honest & loves war.. To answer the question.. He wants an amnesty for all illegal immigrants...that's a worry.
