Memorable issues or events for john mccain in the campaign?

I'm doing a history project about John McCain, and i need a couple of memorable moments or events from the campaing about him. I would love it if you could tell me a few.

Public Comments

1. What about when he threw his temper tantrum on the plane when the reporter asked him a valid question he did not like. He was hateful, rude and acted like a man out of control. Looked like he needs anger management classes. He acted like a 2 year old who didn't get his way. This is memorable to me. We don't need a hot head for our president.
2. I liked it when the liberal rag, the New York Times, lied about him having an affair. That was great. We will be seeing more of that in the future.
