- Fred Thompson will be the next President. I had a wonderful dream last night! I dreamed of what this fine country could be 6 years from now if it returned to the principles of hard work and faith in god that it was founded on. In my dream, I saw a number of things. I saw a country where race was barred from being a consideration in school and higher education admissions. No affirmative action, no quotas, no special considerations, the basis of admission was strictly Academic Merit. Students had to work hard, study, ask questions, be intrigued, and cut their teeth on textbooks to get that cherished admission to college. It didn’t matter if you were Black, white, Hispanic, Laotian, or Asian...what mattered was your merit based on your academic achievements and the absolute equality sought after by Dr. Martin Luther King was finally achieved. It was a great day in America. I saw a country where when our citizens or interests were attacked, those attackers and those that supported them were wiped from the face of the earth without a second thought, instead of apologizing for them saying they have been oppressed by “American Imperialism.” As a result, the Islamic fundamentalists subscribing to the Wahabi sect of Islam now think twice about striking anything affiliated with the American Flag. It was a great day in America. I saw a country where we secured our borders as zealously as we secure those in Iraq. It was a great day in America I saw a country where immigrants to this country from Mexico and all other nations came to this country legally and with an honest desire to become Americans. They came here not looking for things to be handed to them or demanding special considerations. Rather, they came here with a heart of determination to work hard, learn the language, assimilate with their neighbors and become an American in every facet and took pride in flying Old Glory on their front lawn. They do not forget their culture from their homeland, but they recognize, embrace and live the culture of their new home. It was a great day in America I saw a country where the hypocrite politicians on both sides of the aisle were barred from spending social security funds and had to pay out of their own pocket to replace the funds the so vigorously plundered. Those that have worked their whole life and are retiring now have a safety net and the retirement income they so rightly deserve. It was a GLORIOUS day in America! I saw a country where our Veterans are honored and cared for with the same loyalty, honor, and determination which they served our country with. It was a great day in America. I saw a country where individuals were held accountable for their actions, and not allowed to blame their position in life on somebody else. It was a great day in America. I saw a country where the ones that received paychecks were those that WORKED! With the exception of Veterans and those that are disabled, welfare now had a one year limit. Gone were the days where able bodied men and women were allowed to sit on their behinds and collect a check from my tax dollars for sitting on their behinds, when the only reason they couldn’t be out working was that they are LAZY. It was a great day in America. In my dream, Fred Dalton Thompson was the President of the United States, and had been for the last 6 years.
- I think it will be months and months of slanderish commercials. Baby kissing. Drama. Denials. Slander, slander, slander. I hate election time. I hate the commercials. I hate the divide that happens in america "blue vs red states" This kind of crap is going to push americans away from voting.
- I predict the Gumby / Pokey ticket wins in a landslide election not soon to be forgotten.
- Honestly, I predict that Hillary will be the very first Female president. She's strong and inteletual. I love Obama, but there's no way that they will let him serve this time around.
- I like both Ron Paul and Kuchinich they are both great people. I like how they they stand on issues more than most of the candidates but I think Hillary will win. Hillary is very moderate.
- I think that even though america's approval rating for george bush is very low, america is still a god centered county, and our next president will be republican. even though guliani has september 11 on his resume, to me he seems illiterate and unqualified. Mitt Romney seems like the type of candidate that parallells america's values. I wouldn't be surprised if he pulls ahead in polls next year. As far as Hillary Clinton goes, I hope the rest of the world can share my philosophy... "Lifes a b***h, so why vote for one?"
- I'm hoping for a Clinton/Obama whitehouse '08.
- It's Hillary's to lose....
- Right now i could care less. They have turned this to such a circus that all they are doing is making me more determined not to vote for any of these corrupted political idiots.
