How can I promote Ron Paul on the street?

And what should I do when they ask me "Why should I vote for Ron Paul?" ? Should I make a flyer stating facts about him? Are there Ron Paul flyers being sold?

Public Comments

  1. Ron who?
  2. he died back in '89.
  3. You can cheer...like a cheerleader or breakdance while rapping "Ron to the P to the A U L!" (I suck at rapping, I know)
  4. Okay, only a miracle will help Ron win this election.
  5. :D lol you and Ron Paul again huh you should make a flyer with facts about him and put stuff on it that hilary/obama aren't doing
  6. I am a Ron Paul supporter too! For people who are against the war, you could say something like Ron Paul is the only nominee who will take troops out of Iraq. Even B.O. and Clinton will keep troops in the war. You could tell them that he wants to phase out the IRS! Both Dems and especially republicans hate the IRS. You could also talk about how he is a constitutionalist, and that he wants to restore America's freedoms that have been taken away from them.
  7. http://www.ronpaul2008store.com/servlet/Detail?no=88 Buy some of these fliers and pass them out. Go stand in front of the mall and pass them out near the door. Wear Ron Paul shirts. And most importantly...GET A RON PAUL BUMPER STICKER!!! Bumper stickers can be seen by thousands of people in a single day, depending on where you drive. When people see his name on the road, it makes him seem like a bigger, more popular candidate. Also, the other day I saw a man in DC walking around with a Ron Paul sign strapped to his back. He just walked around, and passed out fliers when someone asked about him. I don't know if you want to do this much, but it is a great idea. He probably got asked 100 questions that day, and probably 100 more went home and googled "Ron Paul". Get the message out! Ron Paul in 2008 for a free and prosperous America!
  8. There are flyers you can download online, and cards, the size of a business card, that give web pages and a few facts. The thing is that they all are someone else's reasons for voting for Ron Paul. All the same, I bought a bunch of the business card size ones and carry them. If you are speaking to someone, you can hand them out. If you wear a button, or a shirt, people will often comment. Sometimes they just joke - but it is an opportunity to say why voting for the only candidate who always has walked the walk - not just in election year - is the thing to do. I like some of the youtube videos. I put a couple of links to those on some of the cards, since I frankly think they are better than his web page at getting the force of his position across. Web pages tend to look bland, because one assumes they are marketing pieces and we tend to look for 'loopholes'. I know I did when I first read his web page. The idea that a candidate might just be presenting their ideas - take it or leave it - is rarely assumed, due to experience with politicians rather than statesmen. Good luck! Here are the cards I got: http://www.libertytalk.com/liberty_card.php
  9. http://glassbooth.org/ The above site shows the views of all the candidates. Maybe make up a chart, showing the views of all the candidates from that site so they can see that Ron Paul should be our next President. Print it out on 8-1/2 x 11 for handouts. Put the most important topics on there... such as the war, our Constitution, etc. so that it's not too much info where they won't read it and might just toss it. Put his website address on it, maybe at the bottom. Use bright colored paper, such as yellow...to catch attention. Don't use those "hot" pink colors etc. Black ink is hard to read on those. Just keep it simple and get the most important points across. Put a Header on the Chart that says.... "Why Ron Paul?" And then the chart will show ....why!! Good luck and may God continue to Bless America!
  10. You can canvass, pass out Dvd's about him, Ron Paul slimjims, put a huuuge banner/sign on some local freeway, ron paul sings on telephone poles, and/or post "who is ron paul" or "google ron paul". Good luck!
  11. You have already recieved good advice from the posters above me, but please allow me my 2 grams of Gold worth of of advice. As a former small business owner trying to sell something to the public you "Must" become very well informed about your product. In this case your product is Ron Paul & his platform.. ...and if you're able to invest some money in a Ron Paul T-shirt, and get copies printed @ your local print shop, from copies you yourself made from your computer, it really helps. Go here & read this, & memorize the good parts, it really helps: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ron_Paul I originally made some copies myself of stuff from this site, which I still hand out. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/RonPaul2008/message/3023 Here is Ron Paul's official home page. Click on the edit tabs for his speeches & bills. http://www.house.gov/paul/index.shtml Here is a long educational read on Gold. http://www.fee.org/publications/the-freeman/article.asp?aid=3233 I invested in pocket sized Constitutions here: http://www.nccs.net/us_constitution.html {snip} Now you can get 100 Pocket Constitutions for only $30. FREE SHIPPING! I hand these pocket Constitutions out to people for free in an exchange for a promise to vote for Ron Paul. Here is another very good site that explains the state by state voting processes and how to do a WRITE IN VOTE: http://www.canivote.org/ Good Luck keep smiling, keep a "Positive" attitude, { you're in charge of the one on one situation because you usually know a lot more about Ron Paul then them } & be prepared to meet some "Very" interesting people. ***********************************************************
  12. Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate who wants to both slash taxes and end wars and foreign occupations. This is a point that is like steel to anyone with half a brain. "Wait, you mean that I don't have to choose either endless war or have the government steal most of my wages from me? Do you mean I can actually be free? How is that possible? What kind of crazy idea is that? So you can actually choose freedom? I don't have to pick one type of slavery or the other?" These are the kind of questions people who are tired of being brainwashed should be asking. Ron Paul is our only representative who is answering and telling the truth. McCain wants endless war. Obama and Hillary want to tax every small business into the dirt. They all want to ship your job overseas to a slave laborer. Wake up, the coffee is hot America. We were not born to be these fascists' slaves.
  13. Hi There, Got to the web site at Ron Paul 2008 and become a district leader. He also has a fact sheet called "Prescription for America" that you can get at his web site. You can also get bumper stickers and pins there. You could also ask people how they feel about a certain hot issue - health care, immigration, taxes, foreign policy, the economy - and then let them know what Ron Paul would do. A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for common sense.
