Why is Ron Paul being unfairly treated by the mainstream media?
It seems like major television networks and other media outlets have given him little to no coverage. When they do give coverage, it often portrays him in a negative light. They never give credit to this political ideas. They want him to be seen as some lunatic who needs to be silenced so "mainstream" people can talk about the issues. Ron Paul is mainstream. He's for liberty and freedom. He's for lower taxes and economic responsibility. He wants people to have more power over their own lives. How is this anti-mainstream?

- If Ron Paul is 'mainstream' why does he accept donations from Don Black (founder of the racist website Stormfront), and David Duke? Why did he attend conferences about secession? Why did he prepose legislation to get rid of the seperation of chuch and state? If theocracy, racism, and secession are mainstream I must be living in the 1800's.
- 1) Other candidates are including more and more of Paul's message in their debate answers - basically plagiarizing. So the "mainstream candidates" are adopting their ideas. Imitation is the highest form of flattery. 2) Paul's foreign policy ideas scare the Jewish controlled media, although it shouldn't. His policy would calm relations between Israel and the rest of the Middle East and the U.S. - M.E. relations. As he has said repeatedly, U.S. gives 3 times more money and weapons to the rest of the Middle East than we do to Israel. He is tired of the U.S. supporting both sides of this conflct. 3) I expect that, before November, some Fox News reporter will martyr him- or herself by exposing the directives of Rupert Murdoch (NewsCorp), will gain great credibility, embarrass his peers in the media, be remembered forever, and hopefully bring about a change in reporting the NEWS and not allowing the media juggernaut to attempt to brainwash U.S. citizens into voting for their handpicked candidate. The level of media bias is absolutely appalling. Thank God the internet is not privately owned or governmentally regulated, yet. 4) The answerer above has been victimized by a media agenda and I feel sorry for him. He is the love child of Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson.
- my question too!!!!
- I first heard about Ron Paul from the Zeitgeist movie website. Plainly, I feel he is everything that our current administration is not. He is the only non-conforming politician in that he seems to speak with great common sense and is possibly the best candidate for what this country needs right now as he is not obsessed with the fabricated war on terror. He is not obsessed with finding Osama as it has been shown through oil company ties that the entire Bin Laden family is an ally of our current administration. He is only concerned with getting America back where it needs to be financially and internationally. Sadly, because he doesn't play like the other boys, he probably won't win this game.
- Because he's an idiot who's policy ideas would destroy America and the majority of us are smart enough to understand it.
- Because they are all globalists. And he is a patriot.
